Amazon Fire Stick Low Storage Notice Fix

I was running into storage issues on my Fire Sticks, I'd be watching a movie and a notice would come up about not having enough storage and would take me to my apps and I'd have to select which ones I wanted to eliminate to make room. It was pissing me off so I went online and googled my issue and found out that I wasn't the only one who was having issues with not enough storage. It turns out that you can download a free app called ES File Explorer (you don't need to pay for the added extras) and get rid of a lot of the crap that Amazon preloads on the Fire Sticks.

I got rid of Amazon Music, Amazon Photos, Alexa shopping, and some other files and gained almost 2 gigs of memory. I did go online to find out what other files were detrimental for the Fire Stick to operate and got rid of the ones that don't or that I will never use. It's a cheaper and easier alternative to going with the Amazon Cube or adding a dongle and a flash drive.

There are also a couple of apps you can run periodically that will clean up your storage, clear cache, and give you the option to remove apps, etc.... I use it occasionally so I dont have issues.

I was getting this all the time. Went through and cleared out the app's I wasn't using anymore. It worked fine for about an hour, then started doing it again. I didn't have anything else I could get rid of. Went online and seen what people were doing. I said screw it because it was late. Next day started watching in a different app and it never came back up. It hasn't came back up for over a week. I also haven't watched the app that I was having the problems in. I don't know if it was just that app or what. The app that I was using was CWseed, I think.

Similarly, I was getting error messages and disruption watching Netflix on my LG smart TV for months. Netflix sent an email advising to cold boot the TV to erase stored info. Worked like a champ.
