Alright let’s over build it!!!
lol my original plan was to sister all of the rafters with 2x6s and tie it all together with A35s etc.
Now I’m just wondering if I should just add 3 collar ties (2x6), still add the Simpson hardware, use canless lights, r13 insulation and just hang drywall. It’ll be a cathedral ceiling.
I’m adding an LVL where the tyvek is.
The end goal is an office with some cabinets and mini split for AC.
20x20 1950s garage.
