Followed it on Facebook as I was at the river...looked like an amazing turnout.. The 50+ Class had 25 riders, 5 heats.. Lots of old names, great racers and lots of folks that may not have rode like they used to but were happy to get out there and make it through the track. The track looked awesome too...nothing like today's pump tracks...definitely an old school dirt track...

That is so cool! I have a RRS 24” that I need to put together. Very rare and hard to find bike. First pic I look at and there it is, RRS at the event.

Webcos ROCK! My dad bought one for me when I was 6 and I still have it. I only had the original frame and forkset(Tange)so I rebuilt using some OG BMX stuff and some newer stuff. I rebuilt it for my oldest daughter when she was around 12, rode it once and was fairly unimpressed. Just hangs in the garage now, which is fine. Not 100% pleased with how it came out, thinking of doing the frame and forks white and ditching the ugly blue tires .

Dirtyfest was a blast! 3 days of hanging out with a really cool group of people. I felt like I was 16 again. The racing was a blast and the track totally felt like the old days. Next year will be even better. Here are some pictures to enjoy. The old school pic is me on the 11th GT made.
