I can tell you it is a lot more fun having buddies with these boats. There are some bad ass rides in this thread. The center consoles are a lot of fun. Growing up I have always liked custom old school Apaches. You really cannot not even drive them on the intercoastal like you could in the 80s and they have fallen out of favor for the CC but I think having a dock, pad, pool in FT. Lauderdale with a hot rodded Cig deep V style boat on a lift would be cool in addition to a CC of course while I am dreaming. I am not the yacht type - I want to get there fast. Cool thread.

I'm with you! it would be awesome to have a water front house with a big deep vee on a hoist ready to rock anytime.

Money is no object is always a weird place to start. Within reason, Berties, Hatties and Eggies are the usual go to, but I am partial to a Yachfisher type hull:

Has a fishing cockpit, but an aft cabin as well. Also has both a fly-bridge and down station. In SoCal, this is a very good combo.
