We went with Sampson with our system change out last fall. Would have called Brian at Mission Accomplished had we known of him at the time. Best of luck on your repairs.

30 year offshore instrumentation tech, now a commercial HVAC/R parts Specialist. Few here can troubleshoot the multiple components within these different style units of today...

Check main power(s)) and then:

Call "the guy" but know, "the guy" has 10 ahead of you...

10000btu, portable ac at home depot under 500 bucks...will cool 1 closed off room great...while you wait. I have one as I had to wait on next day air once for a trane part...slept like a baby...

What is the purpose of putting them on the roof in Havasu anyway?
Nothing like keeping it in the sun all day.
I heard it was cheaper for the builders to put them on the roof. My buddy paid a upcharge to put the ac on the side of the house when he built his new home. Still in the sun most of the day. 🤔

The weather man has never done us wrong repairing our old system on a holiday and installing a new system earlier this year. Great service like you experienced tonight. Glad you are good to go !

You need a WiFi thermostat

Need to check it before you leave and while in route

That way - you don’t show up to a HOT house!

Could be a few small issues

Disconnect fuses
Condenser

Power outage that caused a problem to the AC unit

Edit -

Glad you got it going!

The Weatherman - Last summer our 2T unit, which cools the master bedroom, went down. This was during one of those 120 degree periods, seriously. Kyle provided us with a 12K BTU portable unit. It got us through the waiting and replacement of the 2T. At Kyle’s advice we replaced our 4T unit, which was the same age as the 2T, this winter. Kyle said doing it during the off season he could save us some $$, which he did. We were also able to select a unit with a Seer2 level sufficient to get us a $2K tax credit on our Fed taxes.

After getting screwed by a previous long term business I tried the Weatherman and they are great.
Reasonable prices and came out within a couple hours and on time
They didn't charge for the service call and diagnostic fee since i went with the whole system
Currently replacing an entire system.

I was with Carey for many years and when he passed, I was worried about finding a stand-up company. Just like Carey Kyle is a stand-up guy that has always done what he says and has shown up on time with no bullshit. Hard to find these days especially in Havasu.

Same here, I've used Weatherman three times this year and it's always an "emergency" situation with an immediate response. With Carey's passing I ignored the general maintenance he took care of and am paying the price. That's already budgeted for this coming fall.

This here. 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻

People Don’t realize how important the maintenance on these machines are. Most emergency repairs are due to a failure that started a long time ago.

We don’t do havasu…..yet 😉 but if you’re out there I highly advise you have regular and routine maintenance scheduled outside of peak season.

You won’t need “emergency” work if you do.
