I've had my boat for about 12 years - I intended to have Shockwave paint the name on the back of the boat right when it was finished, but decided not to for some reason. I've been thinking about getting the name painted on for a few years, but never really took the time to look into a good painter in AZ and I was also considering selling the boat to downsize.

Finally, I decided to just keep the boat and use it, and had the name painted on this weekend. Say hi if you see us on the water!

Looks nice. :thumbsup How come you never CG Registered your boat?

I moved to AZ shortly after buying this boat - AZ boat registration is very affordable for residents, and I didn't need to hassle with the CG documentation that way

Looks great! Can't wait for Father's Day. [emoji106]

Thx - we're looking forward to it. We haven't had the boat on Havasu for a couple of years

Looks great! Love how it's worked around the ski tow

Thans - the ski tow made it a little challenging, but I'm happy with what the painter came up with

Looks great, whats the meaning of the name?

My last name is Rice...

Greg, thought you were selling?

Tank, I considered selling to downsize, but I was never really that serious about it. I put an add on RDP and bumped it a few times, but the reality is that we love the boat once it's on the water. It's nice to not have to worry abut it being too rough, etc. The downside is that it can be a pain to tow around, pull into gas stations, etc, but we have figured out how to deal with it. If there was a better market for my boat, I would probably sell it and get a 29 shockwave, 27 Hallet, or something similar.

I was pretty surprised when you listed it. It's a super cool boat. About the size we want to get next. Something a little smaller than the gun but big enough we can still head out to the islands comfortably.

Mostly I losted it because I wasnt using it enough. I put about 140 hours on it the first 2 years I had it, then we started having kids and put about 50 more hours on in over 10 years. The kids are 7 and 9 and love boating, so I plan to get back to putting some hours on the boat.

I could see you in a Cafe Racer......

yea, we did the same thing but I sold it instead of letting it sit. And yea, if I could find the right Caf?, I'd be all over it.
