Actully I met a guy that owned a building in Washington state that had the same problem and cops wouldn’t do shit.

He told me he made an official documented complaint that his workers were afraid that they may get accosted by the individual upon leaving the building and believed that their safety and lives were in danger.

Cops came out that week and handled it

once you get blown off by the watch commander ask for the Lt.
(Should have noted, at the start of this process make a $200 donation to your local Council person)
after calling the police and getting no response send your Council member an email complaining about quality of life issue and no police response. Copy the City Manager and Police Chief. This should ultimately get some action from your PD

As noted in some earlier comments there are some key words that might help get things moving.

P.S. I've been told that the when a Council member receives a complaint call the first thing there staff does is to note if the caller is a supporter

Such a bad situation. Your parking lot, you and your employees vehicles, private property signs up, I'm sure you have employees that feel uncomfortable going out to their cars, and the police wont do anything about it. If you do anything to deter her your the one at fault. They have more rights then you do as the owner of the property. As mentioned above it is amazing what a formal complaint will do with the police focusing on safety and well being of you and your employees it is hard for them to ignore that.

Few examples.......One said "park this POS shit somewhere else" another "I know your car now idiot" then yesterday "damn its been a week and you must have not read my last notes assholes". These were all on different cars too. The POS shit she referred to is a new Range Rover!

Super weird and random being its a private parking lot she pulls in just to leave these notes and then drives away. She is in and out within 5 minutes. We have owned this building since 2020 and never had an issues before so its very strange behavior total kook.

We have a very small long term staff and for sure none of us know her or have ever seen her. That's the weird part and its not any on persons vehicle either. I think that's what the plan is now to set up a couple of Ring cameras so it alerts us. Our current cameras are great record all perimeters 24/7 but no motion notification.

Good way to catch an assault charge. Nothing good comes from normal people taking action against those with nothing to lose. Feels good to think it, but doing it usually turns out badly.

This is my take too plus she knows exactly who and where you are. You don't know shit about her. I found the best way to deal with homeless and druggies is to confront them directly and sternly tell them they're not welcome there they need to move on. As others have said have them trespassed which means you need to get the officer to fill out some basic paperwork basically stating that you intend to prosecute for people trespassing on your premises. Once they have that on file the officers can then remove them from private property, forcefully if needed.
I would not hire on private security guard as they really have no Authority to physically detain anybody.

Then have a PA or a megaphone with a remote mic set-up and try to set up motion alerts on your cameras. Then when you get the alert, use the PA to yell at her That could be fun too. But dont take it too far to where she starts damaging property.

Insist the PD take a vandalism report.... Vaseline on the door handles... and or tampering with a vehicle report..

The PD will try to kiss it off...If needed contact the watch commander or Captain express your displeasure..

If any note appears to be any kind of threat INSIST a report be taken..

Even if it doesn't go anywhere..at least you'll have documentation she's harassing you and your employees...

Make sure you get her license plate so they have some workable information. It's not a big deal for a detective to follow-up and contact her and find out why the hell she's doing this.

Tell the PD it has gotten worse and your employees don't feel safe walking to their cars.

Inquire if your PD has a Community Policing Team or sorts to focus on quality of life issues for the local businesses and communities...

We own our building along with our parking lot which is private property. Over the last two weeks this random woman late 20s maybe 30 that nobody knows has pulled in our lot and leaves nasty post it notes all over staffs cars along with putting Vaseline on a few employees door handles now. She has even wrote weird random messages on peoples dusty paint and we are all very anal with our cars. Not cool. Cops wont do shit which was expected.

We have her on several camera showing her in action as well as getting her plate and car make/model. My question is there anywhere we can find out who this weirdo is with this info? We all have nice cars and all of our staff is paranoid now that she is going to damage someone's car. Unfortunately we cannot physically watch our cars all day while working.
