Advertisers Here on RDP

I have been trying to get insurance for my boat but have been turned down everywhere because it is a Daytona. I clicked on the Allstate add on this site and to my surprise I now have insurance and it was what I consider to be reasonable. The person I was dealing with (Melissa) was great and very accommodating. Thanks for have the recourses available here for us RDP.

I'm curious why you were getting turned down just because it's a Daytona?

I'm curious why you were getting turned down just because it's a Daytona?

A lot of insurance companies won't insure cats, or boats that go faster then 65mph etc.. Even though it's pretty common place on RDP and we have 3 advertisers on here that can insure just about anything, and a 4th on here that isn't an advertiser right now. That is the exception not the rule.. There's literally 1000's of agents everywhere that can't insure anything much past a bayliner. We kind of cater to the High performance crowd here though.

You are very welcome! How did you like filling out the forms directly on RDP as opposed to having to leave the site?

The whole process was easy, I filled out the form her they sent me an email with a quote and a phone number. I sent them three pictures, used DocuSign to sign the contract and paid on the phone.

Auto Club, who I have insured multiple boats with, Boat US, Geico and Nationwide all said they do not insure "my type of boat" because of the potential they have to go fast

Holy Crap ! someone actually buying insurance for their boat ? amazing ! That's one less worry about some ass- hat without insurance plowing into me at the lake ...

Thanks for the info RD. When I insured my cat through Andy01, the process was very fast and easy. Made it seem like no big deal at all.
