Call Shadow Trailers in CA and ask for Fritz. He's a character but I bet he builds you a nice piece with a lot less BS and a little more speed.

Make sure you do both the galvanized and powder coat. Trailer will last a lot longer.

Schiada Trailer Build

Last month I started the build of a new custom trailer for a new Schiada 24ft V-drive. Here are some photos of the build so far. I will update as I move forward with the build.

Us too. They did a fantastic job on our last trailer. Quick, quality. Also went out and dunked the boat for a day while they installed all new bunks on the new trailer in June. Zero issues. Quick work. Decent price. Very happy. Current trailer is supposed to go over there very soon for new bow stop, ladder and box install.

Fritz was awesome to speak with. He is a bit interesting. I ended up getting nervous about ordering axles over the phone with Fritz and went local, it had nothing to do with him. Fritz was definitely knowledgeable, helpful and responded very quickly.

Shadow worked on my toon trailer. Moved bunks. Excellent job, well priced, quick service.
They have a big selection of parts in there also

Shadow in Havasu did a great job on our caliper repairs and where very responsive and friendly. Long story short, had a caliper bolt back out and snap the caliper in half when we were towing in from Mohave Valley. Called them, they said get it in to them and they would have it back to us in a couple of hours. True to their word. Great selection of parts as parts as well.

Shadow in Havasu is more parts and repairs. They don't build out here, that's what Shadow CA does.

Shadow in LHC does great repair work and stocks all the parts. Even for trailers not built by Shadow (like my Competitive). Highly recommend them.

There is also Saleen, he’s authorized extreme dealer. Going to have him look at him redoing the trailer for my DCB. I have heard good things about his work on boats, so have to imagine his trailer work is good as well.

The adrenaline trailer crew probably has the best customer service in Havasu. They redid the trailer a few years ago and every time I swing in for something they take care of it. I have to beg them to take my money.

I also just walk in or call them and they always seem more then available. Maybe they take the week off during the holiday. That whole shop is always busy when I am in.

Thats crazy. I ordered a trailer in June and was delivered sept of this year. Wayne quoted me 3 months before the build would start and it was about that. No issues with Wayne and I was making changes all the time before the start and even during the build.

If all things are the same out there as they are in the Midwest, the best trailer you will ever get is from a pipeline welder that is laid off in the Winter. The craftsmanship is second to none.

I just used Shadow Trailers in LHC over Thanksgiving. I couldn't be happier! They did all new Vault maintenance free bearings, axle service, brake fluid flush, new bunks, new straps, and new rims and tires. Trailer is like new.

Same here . One refurbished and another was a new build . Awesome work never had any issues. Wayne was so easy to work. I agree way out of character for Wayne .

Saleen had a magic trailer for that price and I have a magic. Tallked to saleen about the trailer and said he can build me what ever due to he is a authorized dealer. I went to extreme talked to the salesman and we put together a build that was the same and was cheaper then Saleen. Extreme looked kinda lost when I asked him about Saleen being a authorized dealer in havasu. I was quoted 9500 for a extreme trailer just there basic trailer. I was quoted 16 originally from adrenalin as well and Wayne came back with a better price. I ended up going with Arenaline to build my trailer.

Same here.. not sure who I spoke too but he wasn’t all about me doing the work and needed them to paint it. Gonna powdercoat it for cheaper.

Unfortunately not this time. Will just be modifying the existing one. My shop is way too small to build a new one.

He wanted 14-16k to paint?
I never said they were the cheapest, but when I ask Wayne to jump he grabs the trampoline and goes as high as I want.
He takes care of my stuff as if it was his own, and handles any concerns with urgency.
of course there’s guys that are less, there’s cheaper ways to build a trailer that appears the same quality. Then there’s the it’s havasu and will these guys still be here next month, next year, etc…

Yea frank can rot! It wasn’t so much as the fact he painted my whole boat, but how he blamed me for it as i rushed him….. no mother fucker i offered you an extra 500$ tops get the job done in a week. All he did was cut back and remount the swing away so it’d fit in my garage.
