This boat originally belonged to a kid that went on to become a custom boat builder. He towed it with a Mustang. Anyone know who he is?

Would that boat be considered "on the rocks?"

John... at the time this occurred the boat was owned by J540's son in law, the 2 kids pictured are his younger kids Karli & Trevor, there're all grown now, his older daughter, Larissa, and her boyfriend at the time, owned the boat, this happened about 10 years ago... as bad as it looks, they got the boat back on the trailer and had in Havasu the next day, it didn't leak, but had damage to the rub rail and scratches on the bottom.... :D :D :D this happened right about the time you sold me my 23XS.... That's funny. I had never heard that before. Just saw this picture for the first time on Saturday. Thanks for the info.

Not Wes

Nope.

The kid started working for me right after buying the boat, then went to another builder before starting his company that is still in business and building boats.

Didn't J540 also have a boat come off the trailer?

I don't know ???? I know he has never lost his Cole off the trailer :D :D :D I've followed him several times across the 40, I thought he had dumped it on some of bridge crossing but didn't .... even pulling at 80 mph :yikes :yikes .... he has hit the prop while driving through the channel a couple of times, or actually Treena did, not John, bent the prop shaft and broke the seals at the hull, had to get it on the trailer real quick like ...
