I truly hope that anyone on the water on july 23 can make it to this gathering.

Planning on it. I take a red eye next Thursday to LAX. Then drive back to havasu Friday AM. Going to take a nap and then find some fun for the night and then the raft up in the Am. I just about got the approval for the HELOC.….funds should be cleared for the fuel. Might bring a fishing rod in hopes of grabbing a few fish for some sashimi. I think that I am only short some liquid refreshments.

Yup! that's my boat, lol sorry I stuck to that side of stuff since I had MaK with us, and my BIL's baby. I'm out here till Monday this week. I knew a few ppl already but it was a good time meeting more inmates lol.

Looks like the day ended up being quite nice. We woke up and it was ugly. Did some things around the house. Saw things clearing up but the wife was already at the point of the day that she does not feel up to doing her half of and launch/retrieve. So looks like I will have to try again next year to get out on the water. Was great to see those that we did Friday night.

The day did start out a bit ugly & discouraging but by time we launched around 10-10:30 it was as calm as can be. Probably the most comfortable McRaftup weather ever.
