Clean Carrera Eclipse recent new 502 engine with only 50 hrs on engine. 120 total hours on boat. Very clean interior, place divertor, flawless gel, American Turbine Jet, Lightning Headers. Runs great. Headers have been changed to purple powder coated Lighting Header after OT Bassets seen on picture. Competitive tandem trailer. Droop available but not installed. $16,000

How fast will she run? Have you GPSed it? Any pump work done? Could you post some pics of the pump. Very nice boat by the way, and good luck with the sale. Oh where is it located?

How fast hmmmmmmmmm well I just posted it on ebay so it must do at least 110+ :)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110238850042

Actually I have never GPS it but the MPH gauge dances around 70. It went faster with the droop on it but I took it off and put in a wedge to play with the ride and speed. Never put the droop back on.

No work on the pump that I know of.

Boat is located in Murrieta, CA

So I've checked out the pics on your Ebay add, very nice pics. I see you have the carb. scoop on forward and backwards. Witch way did it run better. Also is it running better with or without the droop??

I would say running in the low 70's with that setup is nice. Do you have all of the maintenance records since you have owned it? Have you had it checked out by a certified boat tech. in your area?

Can you tell me a little more about the motor. Does it have Forged pistons?, Steel Crank?, What type of rods?, is it or isn't it a full roller setup? Anything else you might want to tell me about it would be nice.

Thanks

Could not tell if it ran better forward or back. I turned it back just in case of a back fire from the carb the kids would not get flashed. Never did back fire but it was more of a just in case.
I could get the maintenance records since I owned it but that was only about two years. GS Marine in Corona installed the 502 about two years ago and did an did one winter service since.
Not check out by a certified boat tech not needed. The boat is in GREAT shape and very low engine hours. I would let any serious buyer take it to be certified if needed.
Sorry dont know much about the engine except that it is a Crate 502. I am assuming that would be from GM. I think there are many people on the boards that know what a crate 502 comes with.
Hope this helps.
Also one day left on ebay. Reseve is set at 13,500

Oh and ran better top end with the droop. Sits better in the water at slow speeds without it. Since it was mainly used for cruising and not going fast top speed I took it off. But it bolts on very quick and I have all the parts.
