Well I thought Id clean this up a little bit, the hull is in great shape, just needs a good detail, however the int, rigging and wiring is less to be desired, Im a wireman by trade and have made several thousand terminations at one time in a control cabinet, but for such a simple 12v system, I have never seen so many "Butt Splices" in so many short runs. At one time or another there must have been a surplus of Butt splice terminals somewhere on the planet. lol

Power: New 300xs

Removed all the Wiring.
Removed the Fuel Tanks, bolts were broken and it appeared that the port side had slid down.
Removed all the Gauges
Repaired the Jack Plate, re-anodized one pc that the Engine bolt had wallered out one othe holes.
Replaced the Trim Tabs with a standard Bennet Tab, it had modified one on it before.
I will be replacing the Swim Step Brackets as soon as I see where the boat sits in the water, so my little kids can easily access the boat.

Can someone tell me (Stan) what is put under the Fuel tanks , as far as rubber pads or ?
there was one rubber pad found under the tank its 3/16" x 1 1/4" x 6 1/4"

Looks like it has come together real nice for you.

Who did your upholstery? I am looking to get some done real soon, and was curious what was wrong with yours and who I should avoid?

What's wrong with the interior? Take my advice on this.. If a shop did it, take it back now or forever hold your peace.. They are not going to remember in 4 months what they promised you today.

The shop is located right here in my Business complex, he's my neighbour

The first thing was the dent in my new GPS speedo, two hrs after they picked it up with the fork lift and took it to their shop, and you guessed it, nobody noes how it happened.
1) speedo dented
2) drilled new holes in the side rails on both sides, hitting the new wiring harness, and the hyd. lines for the steering, after I told the owner not to drill new holes in the boat. The monkey dident care to see what was on the other side. The owner did not train his monkey properly.
3) seat bases were not square, I made new machined aluminum brackets to be mounted on the hull, if the wood seat bases are not square , you cant flip the seat around. I ended making my own.
4) front bucket seats are too wide, now the steering wheel is off center to the seat.Baffoons
5) the rear hatch dosent close, it hits the back of the seat on its way down, a case of simple physics, the leading edge is too thick. DOH !! it also dosent fit tight around the back, so any water comming over the stearn goes into the bilge.
6) the seams don't line up on the rear seat or the hatch, he is going to redo the rear bench and the hatch, in the next week, before I go out again.
7) had a carpet seam at the edge of the bulk head where it meats the fuel tank, the monkey thought the seat would cover the seam, really !! it's about 12" away.
8) nicks and scratches in the gelcoat, about 5 or 6 thjat I noticed right away, from tools or whatever the monkey set on there.

So I still looking for a shop that does good work without fucking your boat up at the same time, the carpet came out fine, I just need (2) new buckets that will fit right We will see if he fixes the hatch and rear seat. stay tuned.

The wife said "I told you so" now I think I'll have a Beer ......

Go to custom Canvas in Montclair, they have done more schiada and hallett interiors then anyone else minus the manufactures. We wont take a boat anywhere else for interior and cover work.
