While I appreciate your optimism, I am also an optimist… given the current snow pack of 81%, I am fuel planning on the Maytag straight all season long.

I agree, we might get lucky for a week or two if at all this year (and prolly won’t be the week I want). We will be going out from the slip at AP.

We are here until the end of June and leave for July/aug during the silly season and heat! So the cut really hasn’t done much for us… when we come back for Sept/Aug the cut is dry…

Where do you guys head to in those months? Our recent trend has been to get away from the heat and crowds in havasu and be at Powell Jul/aug/sept. 🤔

yes, many times. its great.
We used to drag trailers down to the shore at Lone Rock and it was great. Haven't been there in years but would like to get back to Powell...not ready to drive the motorhome down to Lone Rock. How is the beach area by the RV park, etc.?

Thanks!

Swim beach is now just south of the new state line aux launch ramp. There isn’t much to it.

Yup...if I still.had a trailer.I would do it but in the moho not.going to risk it. I know others do but man...it can be tough. It looks pretty hard packed there though?
This was mid week, early spring. Once the wind blown sand dried out and got some traffic cutting it up it was really soft. Softer the closer you got to the water. Was pretty entertaining watching people get stuck.

There's definitely some areas that are firm that I wouldn't be to concerned about taking a motor home in to. But you're a good walk from the water.
