Am i the only one shocked? Damn that’s a lot of cash.
Exactly this. That is a CAR payment, now see what a TRUCK payment looks like for a real shock!
Exactly this.
It ain't going to get any cheaper when in history has it dropped and stayed? I think they will just change the terms to 10 years or more. A new diesel is already 80k-100k. Even putting 20k down and financing it over 6 or 7 years puts you around that number pending interest rate. Makes used trucks seem more appealing. However it's either new or keep putting money to keep the older one running. Either way it's money going out.
Well playedThis is my truck, wonder what it is worth. Chevy 2007 2500 HD Extended Cab 4 X 4 LTZ new body style 6.0 gas, 106K miles all black interior. Yes the new trucks pricing is out of control. View attachment 1132660
I have an 02 two wheel drive long bed extended cab with 125,000 miles. I’m sure I could get more than I think for it.This is my truck, wonder what it is worth. I would say most are “business” trucks. Sec 179 helps.Don't forget the registration, insurance and required maintenance (to keep the warranty)
Brand new GMC Denali, 4x4- $95,000 - Thats insane and here is the kicker THEY ARE EVERYWHERE- where the heck do these guys get the bucks for these trucks?
And this is in Boise, Idaho- Not Silicon Valley.
I need to start a businessI would say most are “business” trucks. Sec 179 helps.
Wow! Thats as much as boat storage!$712 car payments. Holy shit
We are fortunate enough to do the sameHoly crap Don. There is not way that our household can afford that knd of monthly outlay. Because of that we only purchase out vehicles with cash.
Don’t forget, it’s ONLY $712 a month and we’ll throw in a free car wash.
Well your close to $916 a month for a new one with 4 more yrs left on a 5yr loan. Hopefully you don’t have another big maintenance tab the following yr.I never totaled all of the receipts, but I put near 11k in my 2002 Silverado last year resetting everything I didn't stay up on. I have 173k on it and this conversation is exactly why I will drive this thing until I die, or it is unrepairable.
I let a lot of little stuff go so it was a 20 year catch up. Won't be a problem again.Well your close to $916 a month for a new one with 4 more yrs left on a 5yr loan. Hopefully you don’t have another big maintenance tab the following yr.
Well played

And one day they will figure out the money the government is giving them is a small portion of what the government took from them in the beginning MoronsPeople now feel that the government will take care of them, money isn't hard to get anymore. PPP, Stimulus, unemployment, Gas Stimulus etc.... No prob, the money will be there somehow.
I bought new tires for mine a year and a half ago because they were separating. Only put 700 miles on it since then. There are for sure commanding a good price, mine just sits in the garage my grandson is 14 and bugging me about it already.
Have a great 4th.

For how many years?Even a decent shit-box commuter to $20k+ these days. At 3-4% interest with 10% taxes and fees puts the payment up around $500...
