Might want to research lifter failures on the 7.3, apparently that's an issue. I just read a short story/advertisement on Engine Labs web site of the issue and the "fix" that the Melling Co. Has for it. First I've heard of it but then again I'm not in the industry/biz.
6.8L is the same block and oil pump from what I understand.

6.8 is a cast crank and 7.3 forged.

They mentioned it on something I read about keeping costs down on the 6.8. Imagine there is more than just that if it's $1700 less.

So two things going. I'm surprised you are selling it. Nice rig. What is that emoji?
If it don’t sell I’m buying shocks and tires maybe wheels. Without the 5th wheel it’s kinda of pointless to drive as a DD. But i wont loose my ass on it. So probably keep it and spend more money on upgrades.

That emoji is telling you I think your are number 1 🤣

Nothing yet. Drove my reg cab this weekend. But it's not very comfortable and I was sandwiched inside with the rain. Long bed is nice. I have not drove it out for a few years. Got 13.3 mpg.

I am contemplating a 2500 trail boss diesel as I found 1 with the all the options my truck had.

$86,864 is a quote I just got for a 2500hd diesel 4x4 trail boss. Waiting on the breakdown as it's listed for $73,950. No way am I paying ADM. That ship has sailed.

My personal work truck I always like a long bed double cab 2500 or 3500, not the most common. I had my guy in Santa Barbara I've gotten a few different trucks from sort of looking for one with the gas 6.6 / blowing me up at the end of the year with a few good deals and I didn't bite. Whoever does their ordering gets them optioned pretty good for work/ ranch guys. Ended up sort of avoiding him until a few weeks back he sent me a Z71 long bed 2500 double cab Duramax diesel heated seats/ heated steering wheel/ tow package/ gooseneck/ carpet/ mats/ tint/ large long screen/ cruise/ fairly loaded honestly except I never get leather . They dropped it at my house 130 miles away for right at 70 OTD . It did have to be financed to get that price and make minimum of 3 payments but no big deal. Coastal Chevy --
