Ok, I may have asked this before, but I am now out of warranty and want a 350hp ecm upgrade. Does anyone on here know where I can secure such a thing?
I will give them a call and see what they can do. I would think they’d have programmed units on the shelf and send in the core type of scenario, but who knows?…I’d give Whipple a call. Bet they can do it no problem.
It's Fords newer gas V8 they use in the heavy duty pickupsI thought the 6.2 had 400hp, or are we not talking about a GM 6.2?
BOSS 6.2l, so you already have 400hp, or 385hp depending on year. CAT back system is your best bang for the buck, unless you go with the Roush supercharger then it's 600hp $7kish or 800hp$12k depending on set up, you can mess with the tune through your PC or phone at https://www.forscan.org/home.html download the correct app and order the ODBII to USB or bluetooth adapter listed on the page for your app....there is also a good forum there as well. it's a very useful tool to configure the BCM, PCM TCM to your liking, get rid of seatbelt warnings, change TPMS settings, tire size, speedo, configure your radio display to add gauges to it etc.... and yes injector timing but you better be good at HEX coding , best result is getting your tire size and speedo set right then run the relearn on the PCM and TCM it will reconfigure your engine and trans to work properly with the tire size, my 2022 with 35x12.50 will fry the rear tires even with the rear axle lockedIt's Fords newer gas V8 they use in the heavy duty pickups
2018 Mercury 6.2 300 in the back of a boat.I thought the 6.2 had 400hp, or are we not talking about a GM 6.2?
Good luck. I looked everywhere when I had my ‘17 6.2 300. Everything I found referred to the older style 6.2. There appears to be exhaust available, but I didn’t find any ECM tuning or flashes. I couldn’t find definitive answers if the ECM was the only difference or if it was more than that.
