Ok, boat question. The 2004 Mercury 2 stroke on the RIB started acting up. It will start up cold, run to Advance and around perfectly. 2 times I anchored then headed back to town, almost to town and it starts to bog down. 1/2 to full throttle just makes a waaa noise like you stuffed a couple rags in 2 of the three carbs. Idle to the ramp and pull out. Yesterday I replaced water separator, fuel filter, all gas lines and primer. I put fresh gas in it and sea foam. Filled the new fuel filter with sea foam to blast the carb. Drove around for over a hour, ran great. Anchored at Whittings, started its new bog thing just as I got to no wake zone. At this point I’m thinking electrical? When it starts to bog I squeezed the primer and no change, if I hit the choke it will kill the engine

Fuel air mixture screw.
Might need to adjust for change in air temp.

The other thing I’d check is the size of the gasline running to the tank, if you replaced it.

I believe they sell two sizes, and both will fit.

Never updated this. I got it to cut out and was able to check spark. Number two spark plug wasn’t getting spark, it would come and go. Replaced #2 coil and removed the flywheel and put in a new trigger. Ran great for the rest of the summer. Cleaned it all up this weekend and put it down for a winter nap.
