Have you never driven thru a drive and just kept driving. Lol.
That’s Chipotle’s for me. One fucking burrito was 17+ bucks. Cold. Fell the fuck apart and filled with almost everything but the carnitas I wanted.

I’m mean hell. Give a couple Jack in the box tacos for 2 bucks. At least I know what I’m getting.

EDIT.
Hell our local Denny’s makes better burger for a sit down be served

Only eaten at one once, and it was 12 years ago...I believe it must have gotten a lot more expensive

Was it at least good? When we had it, it wasn't too great, that's why we never went back.
I think it’s good. But I’ll go be poor at In n Out. If I’m feeling rich, I’d rather support a mom and pop place than a chain.

We tried 5guys the first day we came out here looking at houses. Heard of them, so tried it. It was dinner time and we didn't know the area. As we left there, continued the direction we were headed, passed the In-N-Out a block later 🤣
Been there a lot, and daughter even worked there. I grew up with it, and now it's a "special occasion" place for us, as we don't eat out much.

5 Guys is the east coast version of the west coast In N Out. Obviously not quite the same.

5 Guys is like getting a backyard smash burger any way you want it, and a ridiculous serving of fries.

I like both places, obviously partial to INO, but sometimes 5 Guys is a nice break.

And yea everything is stupid expensive. We had two wraps and two small drinks at Jimmy John’s and it was $31.

If this keeps going I see a lot of chain locations closing up.

We got a Rally’s and it was open a week and promptly closed. No idea why. Hasn’t reopened.

Freddie’s is another east coast staple and for some reason the one up in Victorville sucks ass. The foods not as good and the place is consistently filthy, the franchise owner should get revoked.

If I’m around 16th street and Camelback I’m going to Harvey’s Wineburger.

Five guys sucks, not a fan at all.

Last week Pops was over, along with our friend Ann and her 2 kids. I made her kids quesadillas, and went to this local pop-up street taco stand next to a 7-11.

I think I got 15 tacos and a burrito. $75

Tonight, same crew…so I went to a carneceria and got 2lbs of asada, 1 lb chicken, 1 lb pastor, a few limes and some cilantro. $60 lol.

We’ll eat it for a few days, but fuck.

Are the prices not right on the menu when you order?

In-n-out uses 2 oz patties
5 Gays uses 3.3 oz patties and they have a ton of extras they throw on for free if you want them.

That 5 Gays cheese burger is more meat than ordering a 3x3 at In-n-Out, so yea it’s gonna be more expensive. If you want a plain cheeseburger, don’t go to 5 Gays.

We used to have an office by 5 guys in Henderson and I would drive right on by to either IN & OUT or to Raising Canes a couple of miles down the street. Not a fan of 5 guys after we tried it a few times.

JEEZO !!!! That's nuts.
The first. 'and only' time I've eaten at 5 guys was at LEAST 10 years ago at the Beach Boulevard location in Huntington Beach.
My Dad, Sister, a buddy & myself all ate inside . . . I though I'd be cool and pick up the tab for the 4 of us . . . I'll never forget looking at the bill & it was $88.00 !!!!
Again, that was 10 years ago . . . shine that.

A breakfast burrito is $18.50 and a large OJ is $7 @ my go to breakfast spot.

Had In n out yesterday got there at 10am before the 45 minute line formed for the day. $15 and change double double fries and a large drink.

Sandwich at jersey Mike's is 20 by itself.

Headed to happy hour now right across the street from 5 guys. Threw in the towel early. So fucking hot hoping the bar AC us working good.

And they still can't figure out how to get the line moving faster. Smallest menu ever. When the line is around the block. Just start throwing patties on the grill and fries in the cooker. They could double the profits easily if they were more efficient.

My burger yesterday was so salty I almost complained. But I ain't got time for that.

Don’t worry they are just price gouging and this will be corrected once everyone in the lounge votes for KaMaLa. She will make everything right. 👍

Can’t speak for your salty ass burger.
But swill say for the amount of cars and orders they fill. Those lines move pretty damn well.
Like to see you do oh let’s just say 40 cars. 3 orders per car. . Various orders in just a few minutes.
And then. For the most part. Get them correct.
Just saying
And be better than most other places.

Raise the employees pay. Same guy Will takes my order majority of the time for the last 10 plus years. I am sure he is probably tired of living with his mom. Super nice guy and his lingo is rubbing off on his fellow employees. Yesterday the young lady kept saying Right on. I almost mentioned Will must of trained you. But didn't want her to take it the wrong way. I like it much better than "My pleasure "

We would stop at Bob Hope Dr and skip the line at In & Out, one trip years ago we switched it up and got burgers. They had 3 times the line and were still able to get a hot correct order out faster than the crappy Mc Donalds down the road.

It's been the regular stop for 20 years.

In-n-out starts at 22 now, if that guy hasn't moved up the ladder then the problem is him

A guy I went to high school with is making 250k a year working for them, not a bad deal for a kid that started out flipping burgers.

Right across the street the line moves 2-3 times faster. But they all reply "my pleasure ".

If it was just a few minutes I would eat there a lot more. I can walk into jersey Mike's across the way and walk out with my sandwich before they get through 15 cars. Not a bad thing they "Make it to order" but from a business financial point. They could crank up the profits big time. But the owner clearly doesn't need the money. I try and get there between 10-1015 and ot only takes about 15 minutes from order to driving off.
