I passed several Teslas on the 40 yesterday going 50-55 trying to make it to the next charger, I filled up in Flagstaff and drove home and made it with 40 miles left in the tank, I made to Flagstaff in one tank as well. It sucks driving driving past super charger after super charger in my ICE truckLots of people in tesla's freaking out. Saw this guy flip a bitch and get stuck.
Saw another one in the sand wash View attachment 1408517

I think you missed a 1 there somewhere in your temp report. Sure you didn't mean 189 deg.?Nice it’s a balmy 89° sitting out watching TV in Havasu.

By the time you get there it will be time to come home10 hours to go 279 miles. Bruh.

Why? Where? If you’re going to Vegas I-15 closed north again!!!
ICE: internal combustion engine I assume?Left Convict Lake (by Mammoth) yesterday at 8:30 should have been home by 2, pulled in garage at 5. Luckily I have ICE so 1 tank got me home no problem.
YesICE: internal combustion engine I assume?
Still fuckedHow's the traffic to the river now? Google Maps isn't really showing a delay.
What a nightmare. The wife is leaving this afternoon for Havasu.... Hopefully she has no issues. My wife and kids left Cali yesterday to come home. She stopped by her Aunt's in the high desert, left there at 1. Stopped in Barstow to eat, then called me to ask about traffic
Left there at 3. She figured, at the time, it showed a wreck. I said it was still backed up from the 15. Well, she went for it. At 3:30 am they pulled over in Seligman and slept for an hour or two. They got home a little after 6 this morning.
All said and done, something like 15 hours to make it from the high desert. Usually 5, maybe 6 plus food break
With the 15 open, should be a lot better in a few hours. Lots of semis lining the highway. Wife said last night you couldn't see any signs or mile markers because of them. Once they get to rolling, it will just be the normal one lane bridge issue to deal with. What a nightmare. The wife is leaving this afternoon for Havasu.... Hopefully she has no issues.
Wife & I stayed in Barstow last night. We left Barstow at 5:15 this morning and took us 4 hours to get to Havasu. The delay at that time was an extra 1.5 hours. It looked like thousands of trucks on the shoulder for most of the 40. As soon as the trucks start rolling it going to be a mess. Side note-Home 2Suite was nice & Oggi’s in Barstow is legit! Great pizza!!Is the 40 east unfucked now since they opened the 15 north?
How easy would it be to completely fuck LA with multiple semi "accidents" like this on a few more arteries?
The 15 is a major economic artery. These past few days have probably had a pretty large impact. 4 or 5 well placed and loaded semis could wreck the economy pretty quick. Lithium fires burn a long time, are difficult to extinguish and burn hot enough to cause damage to concrete and rebar. 5, 15, 10, and 8...all have fairly remote choke points. We've seen it with flood damage, or wrecks, I'm sure others have noticed as well. How easy would it be to completely fuck LA with multiple semi "accidents" like this on a few more arteries?
