I'm running Toyos RT's as that's what I've been accustomed to for a while now but thinking I want to change it up. I absolutely love the look of the tires but after a 1/4 way through its life span, I'm getting tired of how loud they get. Is there something new that I haven't seen that gives the look but isn't as loud?

Wish I could remember their name on here. But one of the rdp regulars is a tire specialist. He informed me there is the old version and the new version of the rt. The new version is supposed to be less audible than the old. Not sure which you have. That's what I run too. I'm considering the AT3. They didn't have my size last time.

I did the same. Went to AT3’s. I wear them out in 30k but they wear even & prorate the tire toward the new set.

A great way to minimize the dreaded “they get louder as they wear” situation, is to rotate and rebalance frequently…I do it every 5k miles.

I just bought the 37” Toyo RT Trails for my truck. The lugs on the shoulder are closer together than the standard RT’s. Should help with the noise

I love the Toyo AT3's I have on my 2500. I had the RT's in 35" and Cooper AT3 XLT in 37" prior to these Toyo 37's, I will never have an RT or MT on a non-offroad truck again. Most modern tires have a nice little sidewall pattern that gives an aggressive enough look out of an all terrain. I was also very pleased with the Coopers.

Toyo or Falken AT.

Almost had a set of Toyos yesterday for a smoking deal but the guy wouldn’t hold them 😡

On my F250 diesel Tremor, I have been running the Falken Wildpeak R/T sized in 37/12.50R18's and they have a 50k mile warranty. So far, I have about 46k miles and they have about 30% left. This is one of the best tires I have ran. BFG, Toyo, Generals, Nitto, ect, have nothing on these.

FYI, I do run balancing beads and they wear super even. I perform a tire rotation every oil change at 5,000 miles.

I am thinking about going with these on my Ram 2500, I have 37" Toyo AT3 on there now and they are about halfway worn. Probably step down to a 35 since I just bought a 37' 5th wheel and that truck sits pretty high on 37's. Toyo also has a $100 rebate through the end of the month on a set of 4 truck tires

Halfway worn?!

Didn't you just do the Thuren kit, wheels and tires?

I have run 3 sets of these Kenda’s. Wifes tundra 37k still look new. Kids f150 got 80k still 40% when we traded in the truck. Other kids f250 bout 10k so far. Damn things wear like iron. Wont break the bank. Fairly quiet. I love them

I did, I picked up a set of wheels and tires off of marketplace to see how I liked the 37's first before buying new. And they were on 18" Methods which was what I was looking to put on anyway

I'm on my 3rd set. I usually get 50k out of em. 👍🏼

Those that are running MT'S are nuts. I used to run 38 MT's back in the mid 2000's when 12" lifts where cool and hated them. Loud and wore out fast.

The only problem I see with the Toyo MT's is weight, they are generally the heaviest tires

I used to be a Toyo MT guy, but now that I’ve had these KM3s for a while, I gotta say they’re my new faves

I put Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT on my F250 last January. They are wearing great. Nice quiet tires and hook up great on snow and ice and wet ramps launching my deck boat. Truck is 2WD so the grip is extra important for me. Also makes it places on dry dirt when hunting where friends need 4x4. Did my annual trailer tow to stagecoach and didn’t have any abnormal sidewall sag or wag pulling the 10k lbs. I had Michelin LTX before and they were also great but didn’t have as good of grip and I felt the rear end moving around more than I liked towing heavy trailers. Had a big bubble in the tread on the Michelins after 5 years with plenty of tread left but I’m sure age played a part. I put 10-15k per year on the truck.

My Toyo MT's (35's and 37's) were not loud at all. I would get about 45,000 miles out of them. I hauled weight in the bed and towed heavy-ish frequently.

I ran Toyo 37s on my Tahoe and f250.

I stopped using Toyos after 2 sets of them dry-rotted and Ozone cracked, before the tread was even half gone.

So, I tried these milestones and could not be happier.
The set I currently have, were bought in 2019 and I still have a few years of life left in them.

They were 60% less money than a set of Toyos.
For the $, I will buy these again in a heartbeat.

Oh and.......I loath and detest fuck'n Toyos.

I was a life long bfg guy. Recently tried falken at3 and I love them they look really aggressive for a at. Getting great life so far and they’re very quiet. Chevy 2500 that is pretty much only used for towing and putting the toddler to sleep on the rough nights 😂

I've been running the Milestar tires on a few different rigs the last 5 or so years with good results and the price helps. I've not run the MT on anything, but I'm due for tires on this old dodge ram we bought. Trying to decide if I want to stick with the XT or try the MT. Are you running the MT on your F250?

FWIW I absolutely love the Milestar 34" UTV tire on my CanAm.

The Milestar AT is made in the USA BTW

37" Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my truck. I'm running the Nitto's on my wife's 4Runner as well. Also had them on my 1500. Keep them rotated and they will last.
