Has anyone used Michelin Defender LTX M/S on a 2500HD tow rig? I would assume they were designed for medium duty use. I don't want another set of noisy 35 x 12.5 x 20 MTs this go around.
I can't find the weight rating on these.

FYI: 35X12.50R20 LT 121R E2 BSW

I have a set of these tires on my shop truck that tows our dump trailer-295/70(or 75)/18. Really like them-quiet, wears great, very stable towing, works surprisingly good in the mud at the transfer station. Super smooth ride...2016 GMC 2500. Good looking tire, not aggressive, but attractive. Not cheap, but I feel they are worth the cost.

They are only a few more dollars than the Yokohama's, Nittos, ect

I ran 2 sets Michelin All Terrains (can't remember model name) on my Dodge 2500 4x4. Had problems with sidewall cracking with both sets.

Yes that exact size on a 2500 hd, quite good ride, and did great in snow and highway driving

I've run that tire for years in a 33 (287/75 16) and love them. Didn't know they offered 35's.

The factory Michelin M/S that came on my super duty. Suck ass in the snow. Toyo or Falken AT3’s are the only tires I buy for any of my trucks.

Have run them in a 33 and 35 size on F350 and love them. AT version is good in snow, wet and dry roads and good for 55,000 miles toying.

Toyo just came out with a new cross between AT and a MT. I have them on the jeep and a guy I know is running them on his GMC 2500. They have been awesome so far. Nice beefy sidewall. Not sure how long they will last compared to Michelins.

I have the Ford factory LTX AT2 on my truck for about 50k and they are quiet and hold the road very well. I think they are a bit different tread pattern. I’ve had them in the snow and they were ok. I can’t really give the best review because I chain my 2wd whenever I get into stop and go town driving but they steered and stopped just fine in last years Mammoth blizzard. I ran them 20ish miles out of town on snow packed roads with no chains on the way back. They will get a some slip pulling up the launch ramp when other people drive my truck and don’t account for the turbo spool.

If you are looking at other options I think there’s a full thread from DaytonaBabe that had tons of tire reviews for full size trucks just a few months ago.

You are going to want to look at the load range on the tires. You can get the exact same tires in different load ranges and that will tell you how much weight it will handle. I have ordered the wrong load range before online and had to return them and get the correct one. Tires were exactly the same, model, size, etc. You will probably be looking at load range E for a 2500 pickup truck.
