Is this your new boat and what boat did you ride in the 28’ or 30’?

YA,didnt help that i had recent surgery and should of stayed home..easy for you to say in your battleship..LOLHe rode in our 308 all day from Delta out under the Gate and back, launched @ B&W that day. It was big water but we had a blast. Kevin was trying to get Brian to turn back.

I rode in the 32 with 400s on glass water....I loved the ride, had the normal 65-75 hop and then ran flat. Again on flat water. Yeah, I think I’m good. Thanks for the concern Kevin.went on a run recently in Delta and Dan Ghatto was ripping his new DW 28 or 30?It had 300XS power.Granted it was flat water, but never seen a cat Porpoise that much (and we paced him for miles to 110mph) and was wondering if the 400s would make it worse!!!Just saying, better try befor you buy

I think I’m keeping the graphics quite simple on this one. Probably going to go with a white base with just some basic graphics. I’m afraid to do red. Too hot. Can’t wait to see with your paint and graphics on it.
That DW is on the left. I’m probably going on the right. Why does the DW drive on the left and the Talon drive on the right? Both boats are incredible!

So does this mean your eliminator with twins might have a price tag on it

That is correct Gary. It will be living at Powell. Probably end of April or beginning of May. As far as a price tag on it. Not likely. I love the old Daytona.Rumor is it's taking up "residency" at Powell this season ...
Most builders will give you the choice of either side.
The boat is rigged dual helm. I am doing a couple of little things right now to make it more user friendly on Havasu. Well placed pincleats by the lockers for buoys etc. I am going back and forth on sea deck strategically placed on the rear entry. It has a strip of non slip but at some point someone is going down. It is nice only having to obsess over these items compared to other boats I have owned. BB - yeah the windshield needs to have a brace / post fabbed. The more I drive the boat the better I like it. I cannot believe the fuel economy and overall efficiency of the boat. It is amazing. Bullhead Bully congrats on the build - thumbs up.
Thanks John, I talked to Doug today....really looking forward to it.Reply:
I take it you bought Derron's boat. That 32 was a steal and an incredible boat. Rigged by the one of the best in the business. Every option you could think of was on that boat including a bad azz tow cover that I wish I had invested in from Randy.
Congrats on your new boat. I tried to get several of my friends to buy that boat and they just don't get it....best all around 32 outboard on the planet. Plus you did not have to wait a year to get it....LOL.
Yes I had to brace the windshield as well...that was the only item I did not have a hand in was the windshield and I am still not happy with mine but live with it.
Wait til you drive it in the ocean then you will really see the boat shine. As far as hop goes this is an offshore boat with a true tunnel. They will hop at a certain speed in smooth water but if the water has any chop it will not even be noticeable or a factor. The boat likes to run and cruise at about 100MPH with my 300XS I get 3.3-3.5 MPG which is the norm.
As far as construction of the boat nothing like it pure race lineage throughout the boat.
I am eagerly awaiting the new Outboard from Mercury then I will repower and terrorize the inboard guys even more.
Paul... I told you five years ago about the DW glad you finally pulled the trigger. You will be very happy.
