This one just popped from the mold, it?s the boat that?s going to be shipping to Kuwait on completion. Getting ready for rigging with mild power, a 502 430Hp.

Nice boat, but why the charcoal grey blob in the red. IMO it kills the lines of the graphics, but to each is own. Nice
boat still!

Thats where the Eliminator logo goes.
Single 502 on a 30? Is that like a 70mph boat?

I'm confused! Not sure what this post means! Something directed at me? I am just used to Eliminators gel looking REALLY GOOD! This just really seems sub-par to say the least compared to the work that normally comes out of that shop! Are they using a different gelcoater? It just does not flow like the other boats do. This to me looks like work from somebody else. The fades and blends just are not Eliminatorish.
Mike
That comment had nothing to do with the gel. It was about all 3 boats being underpowered. I think he forgot to comment on your quote?

Mike..I think the 28 Sleek Craft with a 496 was a poke at Cole Trickles post. CT has a 28 with a 496.

Customer choice always rules.
It is mild power for the boat, but again it ultimately comes down to producing what the costumer wants.

I agree, but from what I have seen always come out of Eliminator's factory this gelwork does not look anything like the norm. The design itself is nice I just think the execution did not come out the way it normally does Did somebody else spray this boat other than your normal guy?
I kind of agree. It doesn't look like theres any kind of fades to it.
To let someone buy this boat with a single 502 is a shame. Will it even get on plane?:thumbsdown
Thats what I was thinking, it may not even plane. I tried that when I lost a prop, one 525 wouldnt get my F29 on plane.

OK,I need to break silence on this thread and ask the questions no one has asked.
#1..Cali,have you guys ever built a single inboard engine 30 Daytona before?I cant recall ever seeing one.
#2..I'm wondering how a hull specificly(I assume) designed for twin engines as far as rear weight bias goes is going to handle with half the weight in back?(once again assuming it can get on plane)
Thats where the Eliminator logo goes.
