I've commented on threads like this before because I simply have no tolerance for it. Had a clown do this next to us a few years ago. Dozen of us on the beach having a good time, had our music on but down low so you could hold a conversation. Guy backs in next to us and just cranks it up. You literally could not hold a conversation it was so loud. So I politely ask him to turn it down which he reluctantly did. As the day went on and he downed a few cans of liquid courage we noticed the volume started going up again.
Once again I asked him to turn it down, which he did. About and hour later he walked up to us and said he didn't understand what our problem was with his tunes and that he was tempted to tell us to go fuck ourselves when we requested he turn it down. I told him we were there first, and had he told me to go fuck myself I would have happily put his dick in the dirt for him. If you're going to be an inconsiderate prick don't pull in next to me and expect me to go away and pout. It's not going to happen.

I like music while on the beach...but only loud enough to be "pleasant"...I'd much rather hear the boats making passes.

Sounding off for bragging rights is cool and all, but much rather hear a huffer motor with dry exhaust...some people like the smell of weed, others prefer the smell of VP. Whatever works for you!

One of my iPods has all the "Schoolhouse Rock" songs, as well as Vanilla Ice. When I had my jacked up F350 with the system it got all kinds of looks...roll down the rear windows and people would see two car seats and a booster...all three kids singing along
