I was pumping gas at the northern most gas station between Parker and Havasu.. This guy walks up and he has a kind if name badge on that says. "Get drunk for 2.99".

I say.. That is a hell of a name badge.. Lol. Explain it. He says they are selling 12'ers for 2.99.

So I walk inside to see what's what and the guy has cases of summer brew for 2.99 and a bunch of blue moon for 7.99..

So I bought some.. He had a bunch left... I didn't want to be greedy. (I almost bought all of it but figured 30 was enough )So here's the heads up for the Parker and havasu locals.. Lol.

i got the same deal out here in tempe last week. bought 8 packs. however the deal is probably because of how old they are. the ones i bought has the experation date of sept 16th

Beer doesnt "expire" it loses its freshness after that date and takes on a slightly different, more stale taste. Still beer though and thr alcohol content doesnt change.

Depends a lot on the brewing process. Many are pasturized and many have been sealed better to prevent those things.

Eating through the aluminum can now, I don't know. Could be "really" old if aluminum is denigrating.:yikes

This. Properly brewed, packaged and sealed beer does "spoil". It will get an off taste as it ages. Keep it cool and out of sun light and beer can go quite a ways after freshness dates and taste fine.

Coors light summer brew was a big initiative for millercoors. Produced a ton of it. Sales, all though not horrible, have been much softer than projected. Thus there is a lot of this stuff in the market. As it's a seasonal product, you will continue to see deep discounting over the next few weeks to clear inventories.
