I would consider it. My daughter is a ball kid at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and gets us free passes but won't be doing it forever so wife might have to volunteer since we're both now hooked on tennis. Talked to a couple retired people working the event and it turns out that they vacation/volunteer (vacayteer? voluncation?) so they can chill in the Desert and watch the tourney for free. Sounds like a pretty good gig. Wife has volunteered at Coachella and has gotten free wristbands, too bad the lineup sucks these days...

My parent wintered in Palm Desert @ Out Door Resorts of America and volunteered at IWTT's annually for about 10 yrs. They really enjoyed it and usually were able to see a lot of great matches on the outer courts leading up to the finals.
