Not in the classified yet as I need some feedback, as I don’t want to leave money on the table. Plus the price may dictate if I list or not. Normally I would be an expert on boat pricing but I’m lost. A 15 year 28 Magic @ $100K????

So here’s what I got.
1999 257 Effect closed bow
All white no stupid ass dated colors and designs.
HP 500 (blue motor)
Always stored indoors
Cockpit cover
Full cover
Competitive trailer newer tires
Engine, drive oil changed every year no matter the use as with the impeller.
158 original hours, that’s right Buba 158 hours.
Never beached!
Condition is excellent.
Will run 80s with light load.
I’m second owner bought with 50 hours 5 years ago. Both of us are old guy’s that don’t abuse our shit.

OK ...so is $60k a real number today?

Start at $68k.

The only reason a used deck boat $100k is because a new equivalent is approaching $200k, and that is what people want.

I think $60k-$65k is realistic. It looks like a great boat, but the closed bow will have a smaller target buying audience.

Yes why my post...the closed deck is not the most sought after so not clear to me how much it hurts the price.

I would call MOM or Outdrive and get their professional opinion.

Thanks for the input will make a decision. Having to accept my age dictating my boating life is bull shit! Been told to stay out the sun, etc.

Still can make 100 mph v-drive morning passes and back to the motorhome so take that shit Father Time.

Why not just start at $69,000 then for the novelty of it?

Set that price at $100 and let it ride. It'll sell. Hell my old 1996 cheatah albeit nicely done is listed for $58,000. I believe it sold.
