Damn....glad someone jumped on my idea.....when Lee was building mine, I mentioned how bitchin' it would be to build this concept. This new build has also a bigger cockpit than the original glassed decks(approx 1 foot forward) using the 21 styled deck....cant wait til see this thing on the strip!

Trader Tim had it the last I know...I saw it in Parker last summer

SR22 = Actual length (keel to nose) 22 feet 4 inches.
24'= Actual length 22 feet 4 inches

Not sure if this was a joke I'm not in on but....we actually measured the 2001 24' this weekend (sober) and ours is 23 ft 4in (keel to nose), might be a little off with tape bending and all.

There was not enough left to make fire wood, I heard they moved it outside for a bit to do some stuff in the shop and in that short time it became infested with termites. Well it did not take any time at all for those termites to make short order of all that new fresh wood......crazy what can happen overnight. Last I heard is the new owner had approved making it a 24' whaler, still cool, just not as cool as the wood deck would have been

4 maybe 5 Years ago this project started. I'm pretty positive there won't be any pictures until the customer takes posetion of his boat. I know that it's getting close.

Saw it a few weeks ago when I was in Cali on business, Stan is motoring along and it looks bitchen !!, I believe Stan mentioned they were waiting on the engine to be completed and dyno'd.

Motor was already dyno'd and was at Schiada as of tues of this week. Stan was buttoning up some final mock up stuff on the motor to make sure everything fits before it goes into the boat.

My Uncle's neighbor just picked up his 24 wood deck.He said he had the guys at Miller boats do the deck. don't think its the same boat though as this boat was in some sort of accident and he bought it from the insurance co. the damage was to the deck. He just got it back, will try and get some pics next time Im over at my uncle's.

Oh come on guys, Everyone knows that you can't do a wood deck Schiada in less than two or three years Look as the Howard Splash day cruiser V Drive boat. It has been what, three years and it isn't finished either. This stuff takes time guys, so just relax:grumble: Shit, even River Daves Golf Cart took what, 5-10 years to finish:hmm
