How will the hatch operate? Will it be fully removable on nice days?

The Hatch will hinge forward with removable pin. Probably wont use it much but nice to have.

300xs, 2.5 short Ram Clamp, 15" Taylor mid, Dbr Ecu & Tunner and Carbon Pan complete. Just waiting on Carbon Cawling.
We plan to use dual Imco Rams and Pin just have to make the Wingplate.

Glass Work and Capping Completed. We tabbed entire hull and deck with 4 oz. outside and 1708 inside.

Block sanding entire exterior and prepping inside for Vinylester Primer and Gelcoat. Should be ready for rigging in a couple weeks.

This is gonna be one sexy work of art. Will you have side mirrors and/or cameras? I believe you said initial testing in Parker but where will you run this amazing machine most of the time?

Most Likely just mirrors. With the Hatch off I have good visibility looking back.

She will live at the Parker House but I will run across Havasu on week days.

The Labsport stays home in the Summer Months for Catalina Skirace practice runs and Races. Coming in Queens Gate Work boat wake last years win!!

Nice Twister!!

Harri would be able to give you more info or build a new Canopy out of new mold.

Yes Wide Body with 52" tunnel. The Cockpit is 48" x 84".

I do like the line of your Boat With transom lines extending up to Canopy. I thought mine was going to look that way so had to change.

I going to wide'n the tunnel 12inces and strech out the cockpit myself, i work with glassfiber boatrepair om my everyday Job, so i feel that part is pretty safe, but i need someone to paint it red

Here is a couple photoshopped photo's of my boat

Not to derail the Twister thread, but that's an AWESOME picture of the Labsport!! I've been a longtime fan of their hulls and images like this one are the reasons why! Beautiful boat Sir!

I'd love a ride in the Labsport. If you ever need an extra 170 pounds of ballast, let me know! 😁

Now back to your Twister build. 👍

Eagerly awaiting update.........
Well as usual things drag on. I am picking up from Fiber Composites Saturday and will get some Photos.

It took some time prepping interior for smooth finish and decided to clean up the bottom.

The Exterior Gelcoat and Carbon Inlays look insane.

Kyle and Cole at W.O.T. are moving along with Rigging!!. Cleats, Nav. lights, Fuel fills and vents, Dash, Steering all mounted with Wiring well under way.

Hanging motor early next week just waiting on Plates inside and out. Using Bob's Action Jack.
Joe found the Twin Ram Steering by Imco used.

Making some nice progress. The oil tank looks like it may be a chore to fill. Maybe its just the pic. Can't wait to see this amazing machine on the water

I fully realize this is a purpose built, incredibly badass machine. Will there be any way to get back in if you wanted to stop for a swim mid lake/river? Will there be any cleats for fenders & lines?

Good Catch ! I will make final decision on Tank and Battery location this week once Motor is hung tomorrow. If tank stays behind battery we we have deck mounted fill cap.

Yes Sir 4 cleats with some Gator step pads to enter Cockpit. She will get tied up at Foxes off season.

I will figure out a step and handle for Summer use swims and have Gator step pads on the rear to enter when hanging at the Sand Bar.

i will get some more photos Friday.

Deck fill is awesome!! Don't let a friend help you get gas & fill your oil tank with gas. Good friend had a 28 Skater with deck mounted fills, is how I know......

Picked up the rear bench 4 oz. Glass, Carbon inlay and Gelcoat. Roof Hatch Gelcoat the top and Clear the Carbon/Kevlar underside.
A 4 week job for Glass work on Transom, Capping and Gelcoat inside and Out turned into a painful 4 months. I will leave it at that!!.

I will get some shots with motor hung early next week.

Kyle and Cole at W.O.T. Are giving her the attention to detail every step of the way. Jackplate and plates inside and out are Anodized. Custom plate for rigging hoses, Trim and steering will also be Anodized. Need to do a little touch up on the used 2.5 15" Clamp Bracket.
Fuel system and Steering lines going in next.

I got so inspired by you'r 4seater cockpit that i have started the project. Going to cut where the green Lines are and drag it 25" back, remove where its all green. Then i'm going to gelcoat spray the boat in new colors

Picked her up from W.O.T. Rigging is complete just waiting on a couple parts and Carbon Cawling. Ran the Motor on the hose all good.

A few shots of the clean rigging before I put together the Interior this weekend.

Tight fit in my 27 ' 6" Garage with the Motor hanging of the back 2" to spare.
