A lot of bigger boats you actually lose seating too.

The 23-25 range (depends on the model) seems to be the sweet spot for overall seating capacity, water sports, handle big water etc and do it with a 496 or 502 and still have good speed.

Your 24 has the best seating lay out due to jump seats. My 22 sat 11 people.

Come try it at the ramp at Echo. most the neighbors will not even launch there with help. They just drive down the road to Rock House. When I am solo much easier to just jump on another boat and have no worries. I have thought about launching there Had 3 toddlers on board and just my Sister but Wet N Wild came through and launched us and retrieved us.

I have done it a few times when no one is around as I just leave my truck on ramp until buoyed up. Just takes about 10 minutes and people get pissed if you block it for a minute when trying to launch.

On lake I am sure it would be easier, this summer I plan on making it up there hopefully for the get together.

moving water and wind are game changers!

:thumbsup

I would never do that on a busy weekend .lol . It gets crazy some times.

There is no dock at our ramp to tie boat to. You launch and tie off to your buoy, throw anchor or go out for the day. So when people want to launch they will be waiting on your truck blocking the ramp while you figure it out. I hate waiting at the ramp so do not block it myself unless nobody is around.

So is the quality of ramp, I have launched neighbors at Rock House that would never be able to launch at Echo. They also have several lanes so it makes it easy to back down tie off to dock and park truck without holding everyone up. All 4 wheels are in the water when I launch and retrieve. Our ramp also has a nice wall to block the current, works great for small boats and seadoos but the back of my boat stays in current and front is blocked by wall causing to it spin.

I guess I should off added depends on ramp. There are several on the strip that are worse than ours as far as current. rock House blue water and a few others are similar to Havasu.

I should of posted it differently. It is actually much harder to retrieve at our Echo ramp than launch. Launching solo is the issue as we have no dock at our ramp.

Whenever you plan on coming down to Parker I have room on my boat. Just text me.

Thanks Steven (PokerRun388) for showing the listing and I apologized didn't get back to you sooner. I love those two Cobra 230 but the wife still thinking about it. You know how woman are. lol.
I just listed a 22 Howard Offshore (2002) with 496HO for $35k. Boat is basically a 24 footer and can handle any chop thrown at it.
