This, to me, is the perfect river boat. I love my brother in law's Magic, but it's really a bit big. I know the jet isn't the most efficient, but I'm a lot more comfortable with them both mechanically and operation.

Not that I have the coin right now, but goals are good to have

I've been researching Deck boats for a couple of months now and when ready to make a purchase, found the one that I would like to own. This thread is killer and has the information and ideas I would like to have in a boat. I do have a question as far as powerplants go. Could you do a 23' build and install a Ilmor 7.4L MPI with a Dominator Pump setup?

Best option is no bullshit 540 bbc hyd roller 700hp $20k engine package

LT4 is 640hp and $30k efi these days
