The boat looks really good. I'm curious what you are doing with exhaust as there are no holes cut in the transom and it appears that all of the rigging is complete less motor. I guess I'll wait and see. I know the feeling seeing the finish line and wanting to splash that thing and run around the river. Have fun and enjoy it.
This is pretty much exactly the exhaust that's going on. Prob be pretty loud...but whatever...LOL
Lol, prob going to be loud! It's going to be a screamer, that's for sure.
Obviously the exhaust will be water jacketed but no water will mix with the exhaust, does anyone even make a slip instyle muffler for your setup?

I love those tips!! First time I saw them was on Teague's Enduro boat.. They look bitchen.
Those turbo tips were popular in the Aussie Boats for ever. Alexi why don't you get another welder guy, why sub anything to those guys? Are they not competition? We can weld up any configuration needed here. We make an emissions muffler stinger also. At times we will sub out other venders depending on the needs. Teague and Imco make items for us all the time and do a great job when I can't get to the welder[emoji106][emoji469]
Yes true! Those tips were first on the Aussie boats for river racing, sprint and water ski racing events. Only a few water jacketed them as it was hardly necessary for the racing environment. I always likes seeing those as a kid so we made a set for my fathers boats and were cool! Over the years we had built several turbo deals and GT Gary built the tips for me as he had the setup to build them them. Later we made a hand full of them here--soon thereafter I had Teague (BOB/Mike) build off a crude drawing a set to mimic the Aussie style tip we loved. Since then they have made most of them for us. We still build them here when I'm in the mood, however only when it requires specific clearances and sensors that are tough to sub out. One thing I must say is that when you have a good resource for something and the cost of buying them comes inline with making it yourself-USE EM! If you don't, that's just a pure ego $$fail! We are proud to represent what we build design or have subbed out. Either way when it is delivered it has our flare, design or finish to it. All of the above mentioned vendors have done excellent for us for almost 30 years. As many folks look at similar companies as competition (enemy)(War) or whatever words they may choose--We look at each one as a strategic partner! Especially in this small business. We have great relationships with all the known and several not known builders and like it that way. We like to concentrate on the exotic work we do and our EFI systems and related items & platforms. I hope this answers your question and explains a bitThose turbo tips were popular in the Aussie Boats for ever. Alexi why don't you get another welder guy, why sub anything to those guys? Well said my friend. Very few have the self confidence in them self's and their business to make that statement. Nicely done.
Out of control man, boat looks amazing to say the least!
Good luck with testing and have fun at the Regatta.
Curious; what trans is in the boat?
99.99% complete. Headed to Custom Canvas in the morning for the new cover, and then off to testing. See you at the Regatta!!!
Any updates on the testing?
this thing is turning out amazing:thumbup:
out of curiosity have you looked into any options in doing the headers in black?
the pin line in Black would be sick also
Keep the updates coming. going through my own build and I know all the work involved. Im not to the point where things are starting to come together yet...but close.
i didn't look into that, i felt like with all the black, the headers needed to be polished to get the right contrast. i think over the winter i will get the gel coat done and the boat 100%. whats your project? thanks for the compliments bud!
Killer either way. Would definitely be different, if they could be done in black. I dig the black look

How did she run with the boostpower deal?
Cool thanks for the update..[SUP][/SUP]
We were still breaking her in. Had the motor set at a low rev limit. But was able to get into her just a little. She is a very healthy, yet snappy little lady. She just wants to GO!!!! It literally JUMPS out of the water. Had some exhaust issues, so she's headed to IMCO this week for through transom exhaust. Not the route I originally wanted to take, but it's just waaaaaaaay too loud as is, and it also scorched the back part of the boat. So it was necessary. Hopefully she'll be ready to rock after a little bit of testing, by the end of October.

So sorry about the gel. You want to sell those tips?
Rough exhaust looks pretty good, thanks to IMCO. Big 5" pipe with removable baffles...should work just fine..
