Question for the RDP masses. Has anyone had any drainage issues with the ski locker bilge? Our ski locker always fills with water but does not drain into the rear bilge compartment. I have tried to clear the drainage hole leading to the rear bilge with everything available including a plumbers snake but to no avail. The simple answer would be to put in a small bilge pump but I would still just like to have the locker drain into the rear bilge area. Anyone had/have this issue with their Eagle?

This is a known problem. I have a 236 and had the same issue. It happened once and I went in with a dry vac and got all the water out immediately. Eliminator told me there is no fix.

had this issue with my 207 ski
the two compartments were not connected separate section (if that makes sense )
took it to eliminator with the same complaint and they drilled a hole in the locker..... but did not connect a tube or hose or anything
to the engine compartment to allow water to drain (ask me another time how I know ) ended up fitting a piece of pvc pipe in the hole they made
to solve the issue
was not happy
terrible set up :thumbsdown

X2 I have a 25 Eagle. My ski locker is in the front and doesn't even have a hole. Use the vacuum or bucket.

Yours must be newer than the rest of ours. Never understood why Eliminator couldn't have run a drain tube under the fuel tank or something.

Left mine parked next to my trailer at Havasu Springs covered and tarped. Came back the next weekend after a monsoon and the rain had split the tarp and filled the ski locker. So much water it bent the tongue jack.

My 28 had the same issue. Drilled 2 - 3/8" holes from the back of the ski locker thru to the bilge area.

my ski locker does have a "drainage" hole but it still fills up and does not effectively drain to the rear bilge area. The pipe is clear of debris but will not drain to the bilge. It seems as though there is no passage under or around the gas tank.

Good to know, I have the same boat as you and have the same issue. There is always water up there and it starts to smell like Budussy real bad if its not cleaned out. Kinda sucks becasue the stuff (wood paddle) I tuck up there gets moldy.

My 22 Daytona had the same problem. Took it back to Eliminator, and they drilled a little hole, maybe 1/2". Plugged the next time out with pieces of carpet from the build. I went in and made a bigger hole and sleeved it, problem solved.

This is what mine has. The only thing I do is make sure the front of the trailer is jacked up a little higher than level. My 236 is an 08 and so far it only gets an inch or so in the back of the motor area all day, the bildge pump usually won't even pump it, it comes out when I drive up the grade going to the South end.

No answer for your question, but water cannons also work good for bailing water out of lockers.

This is what eventually happens if the water doesn't drain around the Belly tank and gets trapped under the floor.

Is your fuel fill on the transom or on the side? Mine being a 96 is on the transom. The hose routing made filling the gas tank a pita sometimes. Finally figured it out and rerouted the filler and vent hoses. I noticed on newer models they had moved the filler location.

Mine fills from the side, but still doesn't fill that fast. I didn't see all of the construction, but as far as I know it has a 50gal poly belly tank, I still worry about the ethanol and the poly tank. I also have the fiberglass inner liner with drains, so that changes the construction somewhat.
