Few new pics from today. Not much outward change but it's coming together. [emoji106]

I'm not familiar with builders putting long Dana tabs on a tunnel ? To improve roll-over for boarding skiing etc ?

Exactly. It's mostly for low speed handling. [emoji106]

Damn that looks nice!! I'm so anxious to here and see how this comes out. This set-up would be my ideal set-up for my family.

They are actually on the outer sponsons if you zoom a little you can see they are outside of the tunnel.

I'm thinking he just meant a tunnel hull but you are absolutely right they are on the sponsons. [emoji106]

Coming along nicely. I have seen the videos Domn8er has recently posted. I like the seating and the 350 on on the back. I really want one now

There's no storage behind the steering wheel and gauges? There's usually a storage door where that speaker is.

I'm 6'7" so I had them leave the cutout under the wheel open so I can put my feet in there. There will be an upholstered ring around the opening to finish it.

So I'll have all the storage just no door in the walkway. I also didn't want that door to rattle as we're putting a pretty big stereo in it :)

We had Tony put in a 'beauty panel' in the rear storage area to hide all the rigging. Got the idea from someone on here. [emoji106]

While it does cut down a little on the available storage I don't have to worry about crap rolling under a pump or an easy up taking out a hose/wire etc. Plus it makes it super nice not having to see all the hoses, pumps, wire running out to the tabs, jackplate, trim, steering etc. lol

We also had them make up a custom ski tow insert that you can see in these pictures. There is a 48" long stainless pole that will sleeve into the blue tube that is tied into the knee braces so we can get the ski tow up over the top of the motor and still have it sit flush with the hatch when not in use. :thumbsup

Looks fantastic!! Should be a perfect lower river family boat. What do you expect for cruise and top speed?

We're looking at low-mid 60's cruise and low 70's for top speed. I'd love to see higher than that (just like everyone :)) but the boat is pretty heavy with everything on it. I think they are seeing low to mid 70s with the sister boat to this one that just got finished for the owner but they haven't had a chance to do much prop testing. Hopefully they'll find the magic prop, if not I'll beg and borrow some props to try out this summer :)

What prop are they suggesting? My 22 tunnel runs pretty well with a stock 26 Merc Bravo 1 XS

I think last time I was up there Tony he had just got a Bravo 1 (not sure if it was the XS model) from merc for testing. I'm not sure if he has tested with the prop yet or not. Good to hear that it's working well for you, hopefully it'll be close :thumbsup

I'd suggest the B1 XC or Rev4 XC both are designed for single OB tunnel boats and have a lot of Cup built in. They should help carry the extra weight well.

When you get the props dialed in I'd like to review the boat. It really looks like Domin8tr stepped up on your build from the pics!

Your boat looks so much better then the others I saw on the water yesterday. Your vent on the side matches the jel better then just a black vent.
