Hey WCMI,
can you give me a ballpark est. for a color sand and buff on a 21" Spectra. Gel is not that bad, but when I used compound and wax it still has small imperfections that need more work.

I'll post some build pics. This was a complete rebuild. Didn't have a motor when I started. WCMI put the whip cream and cherry on top of my project. Danny far exceded my expectations. The tranformation he did was remarkable.

Gelcoat is generally thicker then paint.. if it gets dull, you can wetsand it, then rebuff it and whallah.. fresh gel. Like a shiny new penny.

not too many hatches where the side panels are continued like that. sure theres some with carpet, or vinyl, but with the pockets... have you done more of those? do you custom build things to fit common things like ropes, lifejackets, anchor, flag, etc moreso than just making a pocket or hole under a seat? i think that'd be hot. that capped hull looks awesome as well. nice boat.
