Lockheed Martin, Raytheon Technologies, Northrop Grumman?

Anyone care to comment?
I have LMT and Raytheon.....I have had them for a while in my long term group

LMT missed earnings which caused an ass whuppin yesterday. They say they have a backlog of 176B in orders.

Raytheon.....earnings were up and the stock went up. They say they have a backlog of 200B in orders

I (WE) will continue to hold. The world is still on fire so the defense contractors should be well positioned.

Thats all I got and I do not know who reaps the benefits of building an iron dome if it moves forward

Damn… real quick research.
LMT
has a 52 week high of 614…
Current PE of 20 ish…

Currently trading at $455,

In defense sector which should see influx of Trump spending $$$…
If it rose 33% from today that would put it back at $605ish…
2.6% dividend
hmmmm…. it has me very interested in it.
Limited downside due to reasons its priced where it is, with 33% upside potential in 12-18 months.

I might start staging my way into it… I have mentioned on one of the threads I was looking for defense sector buying opportunity.

Anyway, thats my quick take on it. Will need to dig deeper in order to spend $$$ on it.

52 week high of 314
Trading at $251 now
PEof 19ish
Dividend of 2.1

it needs 25% upside to reach its 52 week high.

Initial thoughts compared to LMT…
GD is a better value based on PE Ratio, but it has lower upside potential of 25% to hit 52 week high, as to where LMT has 33% upside to the same point. But LMT has 25% higher dividend at 2.6%…

At this stage, I still feel LMT is better buy…. But my $$$ is still in my pocket. I have not made any decisions.

Again, is quick reseach… not the dig in deep details…

Please share your thoughts on why one is better than the other. ????

There is a company working on EMP for iron dome type defense.
Using million dollar missles to shoot down $1000 drones is not sustainable.
Seems to me one of the principles is from pltr and it uses ai to intersept and target drones. I have to go back review my notes on the company.

I wasn’t knocking LMT or any other for that matter, but I like to look for value. When the global shit storms start heating up, so will all of these defense industrials.

I think they’re all good, but not what I look at for dividend yields.

It’s pltr. I watched the interview discussing the tech. Very impressive. I've got a couple of grand on the sidelines waiting for a dip.

I have outlined my investing strategys on the past on other similar threads.

I like to figure out which sectors, have the best chance of success over a period of time.
So a new president… clues us in that defense sector has a good chance of success over the next few years…
So, in my strategy.. what is the best options in that sector….

I try to get the best stock I can for each sector that I think has potential….

For defense, our candidates are LMT and GD… But I typically like to narrow down the top four, then deeper dive analysis on figuring out which one I think has the best chance of success. Then I stage my way into that position/holding/investment.
