Whatās wrong with the mid engine vette?pathetic. take an iconic 2 door race car and turn it into a 4 door family sedan. then, in an attempt to accomplish who knows what the fuck, they now shit all over the iconic six pack label too. just call it a prancer, or pillow biter already.
par for the course I guess. mid engine corvette? elec vette? 4 door mustang? with what they charge for these things there's no room in the budget to rename them? could hold a national contest with k-5 and come up with better.
vettes have mid engines like chargers and mustangs have four doors or six packs have 6 cylinders or chick's have....nevermind.Whatās wrong with the mid engine vette?
lol I get it, but you must not be familiar with Zora (the father of the corvette). It was always his vision for the Corvette to be mid engine. Unfortunately it never came to fruition before his death, only concepts.vettes have mid engines like chargers and mustangs have four doors or six packs have 6 cylinders or chick's have....nevermind.
figured that was a cool change, but what do I know? All this bitching about names and nobody mentions LS 7? Thatās blasphemy!
Well, they're ugly as shit. That's the first thing that comes to mind!Whatās wrong with the mid engine vette?
I thought I was the only who felt that way about Toyota!!They gotta do what they gotta do when it comes to the tech stuff. If people want electric cars, they will sell. That is fine.
I am also not pleased with the use of the Mustang name for a electric car. Ford dang near killed the name with the thing they called a Mustang II back when...
I understand Mopar building a 4 door...but don't call it a Charger.
The new body looks cool, glad 2 door is option.
The Challenger, I think they did it OK, in all of its new iterations. The Scat Pack, the RT etc and up, they were fine til they dropped the gas powered hemi.
Six Pack means 3 2 bbls, and should be left alone.
Since Jeep, or Willys, already had a "hurricane" 4 cylinder and a "Super Hurricane" inline 6, maybe they should name the turbo the "Super-Duper " Hurricane
The mid engine Vette...this is a natural progression, and was indeed Zoras original vision, I am good with this. I am just old and would only consider a C-7 or back if I could fit in one and was looking. I wish I could fit in a C6.
I get the playing with electric cars.
I don't like messing with the names of automotive icons.
Give them non iconic names, if no one can come up with anything new maybe the 300 or imperial for electric mopars, or even the Valiant for an econo version.
Ford...Ford could Model E, or the..one of the other names they had...the GalaxiE the LTDe, something...but not Mustang. Please.
On another angle, I don't like Toyota getting away with running a vehicle in NASCAR they call a "stock car" when they never offered a pushrod V-8 RWD in anything...ever...let alone a Camry. I like Toyotas...but c'mon.
I pulled that at a Toyota dealer one time, stopped with a pal who was shopping for a used Taco they had listed...they were flying the big NASCAR banner and I asked where the street version of the cup racer was. They pointed at some clean camry there and I said, what? No, I mean the V-8 RWD version, you know, like the race car?"
They looked at me like I was nuts..."sir, Toyota doesn't sell a V-8 RWD Camry...or any other passenger car for that matter..."
"Yeah, I know. Exactly."
At least for a few years there, we could buy a new Camaro or Mustang with a V-8 and RWD.
Yes...old man yells at cloud...and will continue to do so. The cloud can kiss my behind, LOL.
Yeah, I know Honda is coming....maybe they will run a Ridgeline in the truck series...
Iād take one over a C7 lol. The best will always be the C6 though.Well, they're ugly as shit. That's the first thing that comes to mind!
Best looking Vette since the C2 line of heritage.Iād take one over a C7 lol. The best will always be the C6 though.
They could put a Lexus IS f body on it. That was RWD/V8 powered with about 500hp (the road version). On another angle, I don't like Toyota getting away with running a vehicle in NASCAR they call a "stock car" when they never offered a pushrod V-8 RWD in anything...ever...let alone a Camry. I do. I also do not want to open the rear compartment on some chick and see a piston rod hanging there. call me a traditionalist or whatever. if you still want to ride it, maybe keep it, go for it...................
Who cares where the engine is located. š«µ
