Yup! Every single one of the "examples" they showed are AI rendered version of other manufacturer's trucks.
They must have paid for the AI renderings. I didn’t see any extra fingers, hands or arms in the images like you find in the freebies. 🤣 🤣

6.7 V8...OK Ford, 10 spd ok Ford or GM

5.0 V8 would be Cummins Making exactly Nissan Titan specs. No other exists and I think Cummins dropped it.

Complete bullshit but fun to look at.

In several of the images, the grill emblem, 'Cat' actually read 'CaA'.
Clearly AI.

6.7 V8 turbo diesel.
Hmmm, Sounds like a Ford offering.
In another article, it had a pic of 3408 Cat V8. Firewall resembled a Pete or KW. I don't think that's gonna fit.

Wishful thinking at best.

I believe the 5.0 turbo was a gasoline engine.

From the article -

The 2025 Caterpillar pickup delivers impressive power. Caterpillar has produced a series of engines that provide outstanding power and torque while remaining surprisingly efficient. The base model features a 5.0 L turbocharged V8 gasoline powertrain.

The first mention of the base engine it was a 5.0 gas engine. Then it was a 3.0L diesel, then a base v8 again.

That video was painfully bad and soooo obviously fake. They showed a Silverado based rendering, then a GMC Canyon, then the Subaru concept truck based rending, then an F-150, followed by at least 2 different international market trucks. Just have to look at body lines and window openings.

CAT left the OTR market for reasons. They aren’t making trucks JFC…

AI is nothing but a clickbait-generator at this point…

Pretty sure if there was a pickup offering with a 3408 or even a C15, I would give my left nut and half of my right just to own one…🙃

I am a career Caterpillar dealer employee, I haven't heard anything about this. After Caterpillar pulling out of the on highway truck market and the side x side market, this just won't happen.

Vin drives one.

There is a Subaru and Kia version.
Our Kia AWDs have been fantastic
Limited slip front and rear w/center diff lockers on all of them. All kind unique OHV features on ours.
