Nope, but it is very entertaining to watch from a patrol/tow boat. Those that like racing and would like to get involved can do so by volunteering. Get in contact w/ Ross Wallach @ SCSCRACING.com they need a lot of help to put on these races. Bring your boat or drive one of theirs. It's a great way to watch this great race.
Circle boat races too, not just the enduro.

I’ve watch this race since River Dave put on his last one providing a Rescue boat and operating it for WMI! — over ten years! — And I’m really Fookin bummed I haven’t been able to help out or even get on my boat for well over a year now! — or I’d be the first to be there for y’all! Good luck and have a great race!

Is there a restaurant or bar where you can watch the enduro this Saturday? Where exactly is the north turn?

Is there any way to watch this? I remember surf rat used to cover it so it could be streamed live?

It will probably be live streamed on the scsc Facebook page. That's how they show the circle boat races now.

Heat will play a factor, not sure if these guys pay much attention to hydration.

Some time in the future maybe we will get a proper stream.

The sounds and smells of racing will never be duplicated on a live stream. Just walking from the parking lot, starting down the road to the beach/pit area, you could smell the race gas. Then a random big block v-drive would fire up. Intoxicating. All this at 10:30 am.
The sheer power and exhaust sounds of 25+? boats taking off in a Le Mans style start is exhilarating and humbling. I missed my calling.

The cool guys do eighth mile passes in front of the bar.

The men race for four hours.
In a washing machine.
Non fuckin stop.

We had a crazy month leading up to the Enduro. We added 1" of cosa board to the top of our tunnels and cut in trim tabs. The Rampage came with huge tunnels, tall and wide. This mod really helped our boat carry better with more of a neutral trim

We tried to run this 260 we put together but couldn't get it to run right. Changed all the electronics out and the carbs.
Late Wednesday we went back to last years motor a 200 PM (FF) block with a seven petal and VST

Tested on Fri and with 20gals and we could run around 87 not a huge number but would be very completive in our class barring in issues and with timely pit stops.
Got another good start and believe we were around 16th at the first corner. On our 4th lap I could feel a drop in speed so we pitted early, 5th lap. Did a quick compression check, all 145 to 150. Change out the ECU splashed some fuel and back into the water.
Boat ran good for half a lap then back to around 70mph. We decided to ran laps and check it again on the last pit stop.
On the last pit stop we changed all of the coils out and took on more fuel for the last leg.
We finished running around 50mph but took the checkered completing 34 laps and fourth in our class.
Had a blast again. A big thanks to our crew/family and friends

Surf Rat has done it the past few years, and has done a pretty good job. I don't know why they didn't do it this year, but I would expect there was probably some conflict ;)

I believe we've had the option to run capsules for the last 3 races. I think only 2 boats ran capsules this year.

How’d that F1 boat with the APX engine do?
Leading early, as expected he smoked everyone at the start, then had a problem less than 10 laps in and lost a couple of laps. With everyone stuck at 110 MPH you can't make up ground unless your competition also has a problem.

The F1 lead the first 3 laps and handle the first rough leg really well considering it's size.
I heard it was limited by it's 27 gallon fuel tank and required more pit stops

it was super cool to watch, and you're right, that first lap when he came ripping through in the lead (by a good margin) he was looking strong.

you would have thought they could have foreseen that fuel issue and ran a larger tank.

I understand F1's are weight sensitive especially with that APX and don't have a whole lot of room
