Watched a little of USA women’s basketball vs Japan earlier. Good match for a little while. Women’s swimming medley was pretty cool. USA took silver/bronze. Watching men’s gymnastics now. No comments allowed @JB in so cal

I’m old. I remember when the Olympics were for amateur athletes.
When it was about the sport. Not the money or the propaganda being pushed.
I feel bad that is lost on so many of these young athletes who work their asses off to get there.☹️😡

Not out of rebellion or anything but I have not watched ( okay maybe a minute or two) of these games. Just don’t have the interest.
And has nothing to with loyalty to my country.

I remember when I was maybe 12 or so I had my 15 YO sister lace up gloves just so I could spar a little. (She was way bigger than me)
I popped her one in the nose right about the time my dad came down the stairs and saw us.
I wont go into detail about what happened next…but suffice it to say I’ve never struck a female again in 50 some odd years.
This, even at these screwed up Olympics, is a new low by any measure.

This is the worst coverage of any Olympics. I was really up for surfing but they managed to f--K up the coverage. Also have it coming on at 9pm mountain. Already know the results.
Try and find a good guide to events. It's always changing. lastly, I feel like NBC is trying to push me intiosubscribing to Peacock to watch the Olympics. Pretty discouraged.

USA has a few alternate channels on DTV so you can watch different events during the day live.

Best way to watch is through Peacock and do everything by demand replays... its the best option ever for the Olympics...get to watch what I want when I want.

It sure seems like the announcers can’t say enough good things about other nations and are highly critical of the US athletes. Except for Simone Biles of course, she can do no wrong in their eyes.

Can’t believe the Kelce mom said if you didn’t like the opening ceremony, you’re just a homophobe🤬

My bad... I did not see that...I had been tracking where Paris 2024 was being strict and denied Leah Thomas but did not see this one... This is absolutely asinine to allow it...in reading more of why they allowed even seems like more BS. They are a women on their passport...oh that makes it ok! Terrible.

If women want to take their sports back, they need to unilaterally boycott all sports until this shit stops. So long as they are willing to jump into the ring, into the pool, etc. with these freaks they are going to continue to be allowed to participate.

As much as I'm boycotting the Olympics, my family is big into BMX. Where can we watch?

Apparently, country of Italy was against her to enter but she want it to do anway. She thought she could do it. Even her coach advised against the match against it, a fake female might be her opponent, and blame her to walk off the ring. She foud out now, no women should go aganst biological male boxers.;)
