You can call Temple Bar and ask about launching issues , they do pick up the phone . A few years ago , they had a tractor with a long tow rope right next to the ramp and didn’t hesitate to help you .

just do like the bass boat (and many others) guys do. back it in tight up against the courtesy dock, pull it off and tie it to the dock, then go park.

hemingway straight line to temple bar has to be 60+ miles.......
Thats what I always do…just worry about traffic. Most places during the week its no biggy but on a busy weekend its a nightmare.

60+ miles! That sounds like an all day blast! I would be cruising slow on the way back after re-fueling with regular…my blower motor no likey.

Just got confirmation from my lady…we will be there. Rolling in Wednesday night. Looking forward to running Mead for the first time and playing some Craps at the lodge.

No tables at the Lodge. Just slots.

My boat lives at T-Bar so we'll be coming from there.
A storm came through 2 days ago and ripped apart part of the dock taking out power to the covered slips and gas dock. I haven't heard the eta for repairs.
Went to Sandy Point (Big Sandy) yesterday and it is a mess from the storm debris. Not much in the way of beaches too pull up on but still a nice cruise from TB.
Plenty of nice beaches to rendezvous in Temple Basin, as well as the new Hallett Beach across the lake from Middle Point.
Heading to the dam today

I dunno. The wife and kids are coming up Sunday. I’ll be in Havasu Wednesday.

FYI, Anyone wanting to launch and/or stay at Temple Bar, the ramp is good to go. They're using a mobi mat and it's working great. 1 lane, but usually no wait.
Fuel - they have 89 on land and 91 on the dock.
Hotel- Call to reserve.
The restaurant & bar are open Thursday thru Sunday for breakfast 8-11 and Dinner 4(?)-8.
The bar will stay open longer for paying customers

Which is the easiest route towing? Searchlight or through kingman?

Road is way smoother through searchlight

Kingman road is 60 miles of dodging potholes between the 40 stretch and the 93 stretch

Tons of Awesome food in old town Boulder City.

Momo Sushi is legit, no joke, they get their fish from the same place all the high end Vegas spots do.

Skinny Bar is a real cocktail lounge that makes excellent drinks.

Avoid the backstop unless you like smoking cigs and staying up past your bed time 🤣 🤣 🤣

Just watch out for the fuckign RR tracks. I swear to god I saw my boat 1 foot above the trailer the first time I hit those tracks heading north from LHC

I’m taking searchlight. I remember going through Kingman to Powell. It wasn’t my favorite. Plus we are meeting up with someone in needles.

I only know one guy that likes smoking cigs and staying up past my bed time! He mentioned we are getting 5 skullers at some point this weekend. 😬😬.

There’s also construction just before Kingman on 40. The good news is that it is a repave from Old Trails to Holy Moses Wash. Eastbound should be done by tonight ;)
