Wasn’t too tough? They’re the only team in the CFP that has played three other teams in the CFP. They already played OSU, PSU, and Boise State.

It’s hard to beat the same team twice but OSU is not the same team. If you watched the game, the only reason Oregon won is because the QB for OSU didn’t slide soon enough to give them an opportunity to kick a game-winning field goal. Not saying he would’ve made it but it could’ve been a different outcome.

ND with the Mickey Mouse schedule all season and no conference championship.

First round against an Indiana team that had just as easy of a regular season schedule and now going against a Georgia team with their starting QB out.

This first season of the playoff just shows that you need an easy schedule and good record to get into the playoff.

Eh, calm down over there. You guys had a slightly tougher Mickey Mouse schedule too.

Penn State lost to the two good teams they played and should've lost to SC but got saved by the refs.

Then the SMU/Boise route to the semis was even easier than NDs... and Boise State had more yards than Penn State.

Georgia had more yards than ND. I mean holy shit, ND's QB had 90 yards passing 😂

Don't get me wrong, both ND and Penn State are good. But they're proof that you need maybe 1-2 good games on schedule, lose those games, win the rest, and your in the playoff. Then maybe you get a lucky path to semis or championship.

ND is in the final 4 and I believe ended up being ranked 3. Not the case for them this year

Talking shit on my team does not help your argument that ND did not have a Mickey Mouse schedule.

Let's take a look at the facts... opponents records at the end of the season:

Texas A&M: 8-5 (5th in the SEC)
Northern Illinois: 8-5 (7th in the MAC, ND lost this game)
Purdue: 1-11
Miami OH: 9-5 (2nd in the MAC)
Louisville: 9-4 (5th in the ACC, Won by 1 score)
Stanford: 3-9
Georgia Tech: 7-6
Navy: 10-3 (3rd in the AAC... not ACC)
Florida State 2-10
Virginia: 5-7
Army: 12-2 (1st in the AAC)
USC: 7-6 (SC almost tied this game with 4ish mins left... then 2 pick 6s, but not a good game for ND)

They basically played no one who even had a shot at the playoffs 👍

It's not ND's fault that none of these teams were good this year. But it shows how a team that really doesn't have a ton of firepower can get into the playoff.

Now, Indiana was a joke and ND's defense and special teams were the stars of the Georgia backup QB game.

ASU easily should have beat Texas. We did what we always do, give up 2 big plays in the first quarter. Couldn’t score from within the 20 i don’t know how many times. Gave up a TD on 4th and long because we decided to blitz.
This targeting could have given us the game but we put ourselves in that position to need it. Texas gave us every opportunity to beat them.
Nobody has to hang their head low, it was the best bowl game so far.

My brother in Christ... they only had 244 yards. Only 90 of which were passing. I already said the defense was good.

Fucking DTV. I recorded it because I had to work today. It recorded 1 hour and 40 minutes. WTF. I got the first half only.

I just checked the DTV guide and the replay is 2 hours long later tonight. 2 hours?

Would have been nice to see the whole game.
