Made it to town last night, unhooked boat & grabbed late supper & a drink. Met several very nice folks in town for the runs today thru Sat. Sun trying to come up & break thru the fog. Pics later

Very foggy over Lake Charlevoix, sun tryin to burn it off. Weather looks about perfect for today, tomorrow & Saturday. Beyond excited for a TON of boating on new to us water

Lake Michigan was almost dead flat yesterday & today looks to be about the same. Mid 80s & sun, weather has been perfect.
Don't ever ride in a 36+ Skater, you will be broken for life & not wanna ride in anything else. A 39 MTI with 500s came up beside us yesterday @ +/- 110mph & learned very quickly when some 3-4' yacht wakes came up

Boats, scenery and people are what make this the best event of its kind. I went in 2021 and believe me you need to try to go at least once.

Incredible day
Had Peter Hledin, founder of Skater, in the passenger seat all day with us. Listening to him talk about boats all day was truly overwhelming. Wife & I are beyond lucky to experience what we have today. Dales 36 is an amazing machine, cruised all day between 80-125mph
My adrenaline is JACKED & now the boat is tied off & drinkin starts

Dales 36 Skater ate up all the boat wakes today. Lake Michigan was mostly flat until this afternoon but a few of the outboard cats tried to play & got put in their place. We cruised all day between 70-125
