I changed direction for the kawasaki to the yamaha purely because of weight. So im looking for a 4 stroke superjet.

Coyne? Berts?

If you get one for MSRP let us know who sold it to you. I would look at some of the SxS threads and see who is selling stuff without markup and try them.

Yeah. Coyne in banning had 2022 and 2023 in stock. But ADM. 2022 on sale but what good is sale price if there is ADM.

Few of them on the water today.

Was at Parker Yamaha today. But didn't see one. Almost bought another Yamaha ski. No ADM. But it did have $895 destination and $695 un crate and prep fee. He gave me a OTD on it in under 30 seconds once he sat at computer.

They like to add mark up on them big time. Was crazy demand at first but after some rider reviews they kind of faded off. But dealers act like they are in higher demand.

Probably not. I tried to buy a KTM 450 in the crate a few years back and I was told by the owner of the dealership they couldn’t per their dealer contract with the manufacturer.

I was able to negotiate a bit at Delamo in Santa Ana (all Delamo's are probably similar). They started at like $3600 ADM for an OTD well over $14K. I ended up at $12.5 OTD.

About to get on the water. If you see a dozen kids on the tube that's Me. They were getting there off-road fix in this morning.

If you can wait, buy it after Labor Day. They will deal then.

I hear it's not that great. The kawi is better. Yes it's heavy.

Ill wait unless something comes up. Not paying ADM period
Smart move or look for a used one. Demand was high when they came out. Many were bought and flipped then most find out that the ski didn’t work out as great as they thought. But like youve said the size is right compared to kawi

The kawasaki extra 100 lbs isn't an option. 2 guys can deal with 375-400 lbs onto the back of a houseboat, in and out of truck bed. With the Kawasaki 500 lbs you
NEED a trailer and a crane
It's gonna be used exclusively at Lake powell.

Its ride now powersports in peoria he offered it at $14,650 otd, I didnt even ask him otd price he just offered it up
That's $3k to much. Del amo motorsports in LB has a Like new used 1 there other location had 2 new ones. They are starting to sit at those msrp prices plus ADM. Offer msrp plus tax license otd. Or walk. They will start going back to normal prices once they sit on them.

Every dealer I've talked to has them in stock. Coyne, Temecula, Berts, Fun Bike Center. I'll continue to wait...

Back in August 2023. I paid 11,800 OTD. That was from Del Amo in South Bay. San Diego.

So how are these to ride? My son is on the SXR 800 and as he gets older, I could see us going this route so he can go on longer rides and not need to mix fuel anymore.

I have an SXR 800 and @white tortilla has both 2 stroke and 4 stroke super jet.

We ride/race each other all the time. The new SJ is way faster out of the hole but not as stable as the SXR 800.

If I had to choose one it would for sure be the new SJ but the SXR800 does a pretty darn good job. FYI both 800 and new SJ have almost identical hull sizes.

Previous model SJ is as good as jet ski should be imo.

My superjet is a blast to ride. Having a 550 and a 750. This new superjet 4 stroke is awesome. Not too much heavier and no more premix

I just bought a new Yamaha GP1800 SVHO from Berts. While they had it listed with ADM, I never even considered that part of the price. Got it and a new double Zieman trailer for about $2500 under MSRP plus tax and shipping. It had been a long time since I had bought one and they were actually great to deal with. I do miss Montclair Yamaha though.

Has anyone bought a 24 this year? I am looking at one but my dealer wants MSRP +990 prep to get it out of the crate which seems like a steep considering they come assembled.

Edit: Maybe 990 in fees isn't so bad afterall

They still want $3k in ADM + Fees even though they are flooring 14 in inventory. Maybe after summer...
I have to go to Parker Yamaha tomorrow for recall on rzr. See what there at now. Last time 15k which is not happening.

A dealer an hour and a half from me quoted me 12,150 out the door (9.25 sales tax). Sounds like it might be worth the drive.
