I saw this boat at the show and thought the same. At 50k I have no idea who their target market is.

My Friend has 1. He could afford any boat at that show and 1 of each style. I will ask him next time why he chose it.

So we have concluded the “performance hall” only to goto the next hall and find hotboats!! As well Brad from SoCal Jetboats had a large booth there, NJBA and Place Diverter as well! I thought it was cool these guys showed up and it added a lot to the show if you ask me.

Appreciate their straightforwardness. They have a pretty solid listing of used wake sport boats in Havasu as well.

This orange 25 speedster was exceptionally clean! I’m really digging the open bow walk offs.. I’m getting older and with only one working foot it’s exceptionally hard for me to get around the windows anymore which is why they are probably appealing to me more.

And finally the “Belle of the Ball” as they say.. this was by far and away the most talked about boat in the performance hall and it drew such crowds that eventually they pulled the steps away from the boat to try and minimize so many people getting up on it and not leaving.. lol (seriously). It’s definitely different and everyone I talked to absolutely loved it.

I believe they have approximately 30 on order now and I know the wait list is approaching two years if it isn’t past two years.

30 on order is quite the accomplishment in only a few years and the first one just being delivered. Has to be a great feeling for the Luxe team. Congrats.

And a look at the red Venom they brought..

If you are wondering how to tell the difference.. They “Python’s are deck boats” and the Performance Cats are called Venoms.. if you want to get super technically the Python above would technically be called a Python “W” because
They made a Python model earlier without a windshield and this one has it tooled in.

Anyhow I love this red / tan color combo they bring every couple years.. they did a closed bow venom a few years back that was just about the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen. This one is up there in the looks department as well.. Just jaw dropping gorgeous

Shit! I got to talking to Scott and crew so much at the show I didn’t take any pics. . We did get video. They brought a 29 x flight and a crazy 34 x flight they have been working on with twin Teague 1050’s..

First water test it ran flawlessly. Hopefully this week we will conclude final water testing with more props

I was taking to Jerry Barron one day...

He was telling me how all the CARB regulations have pushed the price of boats into the stratosphere.

Old days? Fuel tanks? A few hundred bucks and your done.

Today? Total EVAP systems are Expensive to design, and install!!! We are well beyond hundreds and into the thousands. And fuel tanks are just ONE aspect...

I don't think most people realize how much CARB regulations have pushed up the price of the sport we all love.

And it affects Everything being sold in CA.

Friend bought a seadoo boat in 2004. It was 45K plus fees. Imagine now it's 90K. I have not looked at the seadoo and Yamaha boat prices in years. I have been looking at the new ski prices though. And have several friends that bought them recently.

So here is something we are playing around with that I don’t believe anyone has done.. how about a quick edited walk through of a boat in 25 seconds?

In these clips we set the camera orientations throughout but I could upload them raw where the member can look around the boat while it’s playing or pause and zoom in on different slots
