NWSRA Water Ski races at Havasu Springs, Sprint races, there will be a lot more classes available rather then the traditional marathon format!
Someting for every level of skier,
More spectator friendly as well!

I've been to Shaver lake a bunch, never with my boat....what's it like at Bass like?

A couple of summer's ago in August there was a classic boat regatta of sorts at Pirate's. Maybe 2019?? Is there any info on this event up coming?

A little lower in elevation and everything is a little more centralized. Handful of establishments on the water and waterfront hotel & chalets.

Yeah Bitchen little cabins you can book through the resort. It’s like $20 more a night for a chalet than a room. Fully furnished, kitchen, deck w bbq, etc

That’s the plan. See if we can get some numbers this year and do an actual event next year. Already had folks wanting to do donations to raffles etc. Thinking of donating all proceeds to the local Sherrif’s and valley children’s hospital if it works out.

The September show at Pirates was something Scott Steele put on. As you may know, he was badly injured at that event and still working on getting on with life right now, so no idea if he will be doing that again this year.

Sundance just sold this past weekend, no telling what the new owner is going to do. Norm told me it is currently closed for two weeks for some upgrades.

AZ, NV and CA. boaters... you're so close to a really great event (Big Cat Poker Run) but the boating you are missing out on is F'ing Fantastic. WAY x 100 better than Havasu boating... Dozens and dozens of places to boat to for a meal or a drink. If your boat is big enough, you can go around Alcatraz. You can also boat to Sacramento and Stockton and tons in between.
