Is $36k a fair price for a 2021 loaded up with 100 miles? I have no idea.
Looked at it today. It's sweet, but will tap.me out.

We have a 2015 xpk4 that we have really enjoyed since 2017. Feel really lucky to.have it.
It's just a bit under powered and lacking in suspension at times. Plus it's getting up.there in miles.

Good point on the spending 50% to have 95% of the fun.

At altitude, i can definitely see where a turbo would help, but the only person that will notice or care is likely you as the driver. Suspension is an easy fix with lots of valving and spring options, it makes a pretty big difference in ride comfort and even capability. Do you bring it to glamis with you?

Thats a pretty damn nice looking ride. No idea if 36k is a good price.

Dealers starting to negotiate or they still hitting buyers with all kinds of markups on top of sticker price?

When I bought the 2015 the plan was to not spend a bunch on upgrading because I really wanted a turbo machine eventually.

We just cruise or crawl on our local trails.
Our old machine is fine for that.
The trails and rides we do in utah would definitely be more fun with a turbo and some better suspension.
Yes, we drag it to Glamis also.

This machine is on consignment. Owner just dropped the price 5k.
They had a ton of new machines. More than I've ever seen. I thinking they would wheel and deal on a new ones.

And, with this one where would you stand warranty wise?

According to the salesman this machine was $32 new and has $18k in aftermarket parts on it.
No warranty. I'm sure they would sell me one though.
New machines come with a 6 month warranty.

Price seems fair looks to have a lot of upgrades in it.

If mommas down 95% of the battle is over to go have at least 50% more fun.

I would call it fair. It’s still got the stock cage on it, I’m not seeing $18k of mods there. If that windshield on it is plastic, it will suck. If it’s glass, it will be OK.

If the low low mileage/ new condition is what you are looking for this isn’t bad. If you could stand something with around 1k miles in good condition you can probably find a similar one with a aftermarket cage, windsheild etc.

I’d say no way! Looks like It’s got a exhaust and tune who knows who did the work.

I’d look for a stock one with a cage seats and communication over this one. I’ve got the same car with about $1200 in upgrades and those are just light bar, windshield, spare tire and rack, cooler, mirrors, spare belt and tools, and a few other little things. I wouldn’t put a tune and exhaust on it it’s already to loud and you don’t really need more power the car will do everything you want in stock form. We’ve got right at 900 miles on it with no issues. Only upgrade we’ll do this summer is new springs and maybe communication like rugged or PCI.

thinking about this overnight. This is on the high end of fair price. Given the miles

Upgrades I can see

Front bumper and winch $1k
Windshield $400
Mirrors $150
Wheels and tires $2k
Rock slider bars $700
Spare tire carrier $150
Limit straps $200
Possibly shock work? $1500-2000
Trinity exhaust $1000

Total about 8k in accessories

For me most of those accessories I would sell and trade for a better version of them to allow for more functionality of the machine and driver comforts

At 36k I feel is on the steep side but not absurd too.


Here is a velocity version with cage/doors and comms same 8k in upgrades and low miles

Here is fully loaded best of the best rzr with nothing but the best parts on it and very very clean

Same car you are looking but with way more upgrades, basically new miles and same price

Get the same caliber of car that your riding buddies have. If they have built turbos, then you won’t want a NA machine. If you’re just cruising the desert alone you don’t need a fully built turbo car.

If you are planning on duning, or if you enjoy really hauling ass, I would get the best/ most car you can afford.

If riding in a group, I would consider comms and good lighting (including a chase light) mandatory. Most of the other stuff can be added as you see fit. A good GPS is nice to have too, either ride command or aftermarket.

I would consider the car priced a little high, but not completely unreasonable. But is it built the way you want? As shown in other posts, you can get into a fully built car with low miles once you get into the 30k range.

More miles but easily 20k more in upgrades.

Wayyyy over priced. Might depend on some of the accessories that are really on it
At least a few thousand over priced and then make a deal on something out of warranty and you'll have to pay sales tax
Hopefully that's not at a Ride Now or else i would say run away from any deal they offer

Going to keep looking now that I have a better idea of what others are asking for nice machines.
Do not see alot of nice cars for sale locally to me in Colorado.
Im not opposed to a little road trip for the right one at the right price.

We sold our turboed sand rail do to lack of use a few years ago with the intention of getting in to a turboed golf cart. Just been waiting for the prices to come down some.

If you get a non turbo car, you will want a turbo car shortly after. Power will be way down at altitude in a non turbo car. Living in Colorado I’d shop around a little more.

He has a non turbo now, lol.

I think it’s a good fit.
If he gets a faster car he will be bored out of his mind following my slow ass around the dunes😂

I think some shocks would go a long way in him liking it another couple years.
