ORDERED ONE THANKS!

C'mon Joe - do some calling - go online and do some research. You can get a 2019 Ford Raptor below MSRP if you look around (if you're in Kali you'll likely have to go out of state but who knows - call your local dealers too)
Check these out if you haven't already:

I’m from SoCal and willing to drive it 500 miles back. If I car transport from either dealer below the discount starts to not make sense...
I’ve worked it for 6 months I had success with 2 dealers found 1 in Texas at msrp, and 1 in Georgia for 1k below msrp and that is for a special order optioned out how I want it... In SoCal there a b.s. $2500 - $5000 over msrp
Tell ya what, you buy it... I'll drive it back. [emoji23]I’m from SoCal and willing to drive it 500 miles back. If I car transport from either dealer below the discount starts to not make sense...

Sam Pack 5 Star Ford in Carrollton, TX doesn’t mark anything up, not even Raptors. They’re right down the street from my office, we do business with them and I can put you in touch with a salesperson.
Transportation is extremely slow right now, people will move your car for cheap. We’ve got enclosed transports and would make you a smoking deal on moving the truck to CA if you have some time flexibility (so I can build a load around it).
As an example we were gonna move a RDPer’s recent BMW purchase, from Georgia to CA in an enclosed hauler with white-glove delivery, for $1500. That’s less than 1/3 the rate we’d normally get.

Between all the savings advice on here and the 100s of pages of bullshit about how to get a Raptor for MSRP or less on the Raptor forums, I gotta say --- If you really want one, ahhhhh fuck it, just go buy one and enjoy it.
I wanted a Raptor from the day the first Gen 1 version hit the lots. But for essentially 8 damn years I fought this internal battle of paying more than MSRP here in CA. and being able to live with myself if I didn't get some deal. I always get fuckin deals, my dad beat that shit into my every being.
So for 8 years I watched Raptors drive by, I sat in them in the lots, spent untold hours working salesmen, spent countless hours online trying to find the one I wanted for MSRP or Less, to NO AVAIL.
Finally in late Oct. of 17', I stopped at a lot in inland San Diego, none on the lot but the internet sales guy said they had one coming in exactly how I wanted it --- Cool.
Yes, I had to pay a couple of G's over MSRP, but I got a decent enough deal on my trade in 12' Platinum.
Not once while driving the Raptor have I given even a single shit about that couple of G's, nor have I lost one moment of sleep. At least I didn't pay $ 20-30K over like some did initially
If dear ole Dad is flipping out in his coffin, well if he's really been keeping tabs on me, that should be the least of his concerns, LOL
I was 70 years old when I finally convinced myself to just buy the God damned truck and enjoy it. If you can afford a Raptor, you can afford a couple of extra G's, if you can't then go buy a XLT.
OR just keep on looking and seeking advise from RDP , just try not to die in the interim, that will really piss you off
I'm only writing this to tell you, I did not seek any advise from the members of RDP, cuz they're a bunch of clowns. They dole out advice about saving every penny on some things and how you're a fool if you don't, mean while pissing away bucket loads of $$$ on dumb-ass shit.
I PAID OVER MSRP and look, I'm OK, I survived it, I'm still alive and I'm still loving driving my Raptor

I did what you did on my boat, my wife was pissed for 6 months. If I roll like that on every purchase , I’ll be getting a divorce and selling all my toys..
Thank you for your advice I was hoping for a RDP member to be ford dealer in AZ. That would be ideal...

Try Team Ford in Las Vegas. I know several guys that have ordered them from them.
I always look at it like, “whats your time worth?” Driving half across the country to aave a few grand when you can be working and charging a client 150$ an hour. Ill work and save my time. Thats just my logic though.

Not to mention fuel, hotel, flight, food

What a steal... oh wait, it’s 2019!!! Seems like the market is saturated and they should be dealing soon enoughFor anyone still looking I just saw this add

Bought fully loaded one, less Raptor sticker, in 17 for 5k over. Drove it for 16 months, 40k miles and sold for 55k to a friend. It was a nice truck, but never used it’s credentials, never got tired of looking at the front end and parked it in driveway front end toward street every time.
Why go thru all that trouble?
There’s a multi-billion dollar industry that does nothing but ship cars. Dealers ship cars every day.
If your savings are greater than the shipping charges, it seems like a no-brainer. You’ll never set foot it a dealership.

Doing all that to save a grand? NFW. Doing all that so save 5 or 6K? No-brainer.
A co-worker's husband horse-trades BMWs all the time. Buys them cheap (and rust free) out of Texas and ships them up here. Drives one for a couple months than sells it, usually for a little bit of profit. I've shipped cars before, it is a pretty easy deal.
Definitely not me. Kind of hard to say that when NOBODY was advertising MSRP...especially in CA. 2019 has some pretty cool upgrades, but its not like everyone with a ‘17 or ‘18 is going to make the jump for new shocks.I'll believe that dealership when actual Raptor owners post that's what they paid. Until then that place is like all the others
Funny! People have been saying that for the past 3-4 years
So it's still a little ways out, but we are buying either a 2020 F-250 or a 2020 Raptor. For those of you who have a Gen 2 Raptor, how does it tow? What kind of weight are you towing? I see a lot of people are putting the helper bags or springs in them. Not hot on adding anything to such a neat truck.
We will be towing a Nautique G23 and total weight is around 7300lbs.
To be honest we will probably end up with a 250, but I sure do like the Raptors. We will probably order it basic as I really don't like all the graphics packs, upgraded wheels or any of that stuff.
I do have a dealer that will do 1500 under MSRP. I assume that is pretty good as I see ADM of upwards of 20k and more at a lot of dealers!
I love my 19' Raptor --- but no way would I tow that much weight behind it. The suspension is awesome for what it's designed for, towing heavy loads or carrying a bed full of rock, is not it. You'd also have to upgrade the very special "Load Range C" KOs, to D's or E's --- again, essentially defeating the intended purpose.
For towing that much weight safely, just get the 250 and enjoy the piece of mind, why turn a Raptor into something it's not ?
Yeah, that's exactly what I am thinking. Thanks! I heard they were way to soft from the factory and I wasn't hot on doing anything after market to it.
The soft is part of what makes it ride so awesome. While waiting for my Raptor to be serviced the other day I was looking at the new F250's --- damn, they are nice --- and kinda spendy but I imagine there's some better deals to be had there.
1,500 below MSRP is awesome for a 19' Raptor --- this dealership here in No County San Diego had their $ 10K market adjustment proudly displayed. I was surprised to fine two GT 350 Mustangs --- both 18's, with zero markup.
Oh for sure, the soft suspension has to be a hoot on rough roads. Oh we won't be buying some King Ranch Platinum heated leather seated 250; just an XL/XLT with Sport and FX4 pack. I am a pretty basic truck guy, but I have always wanted a Raptor.
Yeah, GT350s are at MSRP or well below now, especially if there is an 18 on the lot. All due of course to the release of the new GT500.
