So I really hate to do this but hope you guys can understand... I just found out I’ve been elected delegate of my local and of course My first meeting is aug 11. So two options. The weekend before or the weekend after. I’m going to check the date bread to make sure we are good. I’m going to give a day or two for you guys to figure out which weekend we want then I’ll start an official thread so we can get shirt orders going. Again I’m really sorry I know it’s more my problem than anyone else’s but I hope you guys understand. Been a crazy year for me. And there’s another thread coming about more craziness going on in my life lol

Aug 11th was really the only weekend that worked well for us. Wife cannot take the previous weekend off and the kid starts school on the 14th. Might be able to make the 18th, might.

Just playing devils advocate here but... one persons scheduling conflict requires the ‘event’ to be moved around after everyone else already made their plans? I know it’s Vic’s deal and I know it’s months from now so put your torches and pitchforks away. Was just curious.

Well, Vic stepped up to handle the coordination of the event last couple years. It's not really "His" event as iit was around long before he was part of it. So there is a simple solution... If it's too much for him to handle this year with everything else he has going on, maybe YOU could set everything up so he can concentrate on his family.

It’s a big Forum and a much anticipated event for many. It’s never going to work for everyone, and for me the 11th works. maybe this year we run 2 weekends to accommodate more people.

2 weekends with 1 order of shirts. I’ll help you out with the shirts Vic. Or anything else for that matter.

Yup there’s where I’m at. I’d love to make it on a date I can go as it’s always been my favorite run but it’s the last thing I need to be stressing over.

I know it’s been around long before. I remember all the drama that took place when some felt it shouldn’t be an event or have people outside the ‘circle’ attend because they felt it lost its meaning. I was just curious like I said.

You don’t want me in charge. It will go something like this:
Hey RDP, the 2018 D2D Run will be held on x/xx/xx. If you can make it, great. If you can’t, too bad so sad.

Props to Vic for trying to handle this, work, and home. Hope it all works out. And for the record, it never falls on a good weekend for me. I’m usually out there the weekend before or after. Just the way it goes for me I guess.
